dontxhide
Okay. Between the two fighters of Penn and Sherk I really have no favorites. But pure fighting skill I think Penn will win. I love Wanderlie, but Jardine has impressed me with his humbleness and awkward fighting style that reminds me a little (only a little) of some of what Bruce Lee taught. Ill be going for Jardine! Go Tito! ALways liked him. Not a spetacular fighter in my opinion, but none the less.
endcruelty
i cant wait for the tito fight ...... sooooo excited about this i remember when i first heard of tito, and i saw him knock a guy out like 10 seconds into the fight, ever since then he was my favorite ufc guy if that's not spectacular, what is? dontxhide
I should say that he fights now arent that spetacular. They always seem not Tito, like he is loosing something.
Trev
Huge night... Penn vs Sherk. I like Penn, I really dislike Sherk. I think Penn will win. I used to not like BJ Penn much, but he seems to have found his heart lately. Jardine vs. Silva - I'd love to see Jardine beat Wanderlei, but that one's tough to call. Wanderlei's got the better chin there. Tito vs Machida... I think Machida will win. He's more technical, more well rounded and more motivated. I think Tito's on his way out, he knows it and his heart knows it. Machida's style is going to be very difficult for Tito to deal with. I don't think Tito will even try to stand with him, he won't be able to hit him and Machida will pick him apart. The only chance he has is to be himself and shoot in, take Machida down and stay out of a submission. I don't know if Tito's still got what it takes, he's a bit of an old school fighter now and Machida's so talented, the whole package. I'm also excited to see Soukudjou fight Nakamura. The whole card's pretty good. Although, how could you go wrong in the UFC right now - every weight class is loaded with talent.

corbomite
im excited about tito vs ryoto, i waited so long for ryoto to come to ufc and now he keeps winning. I think ryoto will sneak his way into a title show in the future.

ronnie kray
I'm also excited to see Soukudjou fight Nakamura. oh yes, how could i forget about this one. excited to see how that turns out as well. i hope they find time to show it, right now it's listed as Fight May Not Be Broadcast. the rest of under card looks like it has some decent fights as well. Ivan Salaverry and War Machine both have matches. i would love to see the old Wanderlie Silva come back. he really needs a win. and wasn't too long ago he seemed unstoppable. i like Lyoto Machida over Ortiz. since Tito doesn't want to renew his contract, it doesn't seem like his heart is in it. he just wants to get out of the UFC from what i hear. and in the main event, i have to root for Penn in this one. he just seems so well rounded and his jiu jitsu is world class. Sherk is for sure gonna wanna take it to the ground, and that is where Penn is at his best. no matter who wins, i just wanna see some good competition. and all these fights look like they will provide it. this PPV is less than 2 weeks away, and i am so psyched to see it! dontxhide
That Wanderlei fight was intense! Lyoto Machida is probably one of my favorite up and coming fighters. He's fighting style is amazing, and a lot of his moves, footwork etc remind me of JKD

Trev
Awesome night - Wanderlei's definitely back. BJ Penn wants to go back up to 170 and fight GSP again, I'm not surprised. It was a solid victory over Sherk. Machida - Tito was a typical Machida fight, and not Tito's fight at all. There were some great debuts - Goran Reljic, Yoshida, Palhares... the Soukoudju fight was okay, not great though. If he wants bigger fights at 205, he's going to have to be a little more impressive. Maybe it was his knee injury. As always, looking forward to the next one! And the WEC bout this wknd between Urijah Faber and Jens Pulver - that could be an epic. ronnie kray
Yoshida and Pahlares were very impressive in their debuts. both with great submission victories. Machida's style just completely frustrated Ortiz. lots of counters and stick/move from Machida, Ortiz never got anything moving, except for that triangle at the end of rd 3. that was a real close one. here area some gif hilights from that night. *EDIT* way too many gifs for one post, so i linked most of them. Tito's last chance triangle attempt. so close, yet so far. Pahlares submits Salaverry Yoshida chokes War Machine out cold Machida's knee puts Tito on his back.http://i30.tinypic.com/219s4eg.jpg last moments of Penn vs. Sherkhttp://i25.tinypic.com/2v8pavr.jpg the crowd's HOLY SH**! reactions to Wanderlie's KOhttp://i25.tinypic.com/nffbp.jpg new W.
