  2. I'm spoiled..... in Florida they sell huge seedless watermelons for 2$ a pop ( off the back of a truck!) they are on every corner... unfortunately there is also always some moron selling turtles every block too
  3. Fish are very sensitive creatures...they need a stable environment and temprature. Bouncing around in someone's purse would not be suitable for any living thing. There is just no way this can be done safely and animals should not be used as toys or souvenirs.
  4. I'm already boycotting the Olympics because of china's communist government and hate crimes against people. The people could care less about Tibet...they probably could care even less about the goldfish.
  5. Haven't you heard of safety collars? Those will come loose if given slight pressure.

  10. omg...I have been terrible with recording my food and exercise......I have been busy and stressed arrg...anyway here goes a shot at the blog again... Monday... I did hard bodies and spinning.... oh boy..we did lots of shoulders and biceps and Romanian deadliflts for the legs...then we did alot of balance exercises on the ball which I failed at...completely..I rolled off that thing soo many times...need to work o the balance...My spin teacher got re certified so spin was totally different this time...it rocked...tuesday was spin...endurance.. it was great I sweated alot. Today I woke up late and missed my am exercise class than never ended up going...oops. Tomorrow is another day... here is what I ate today... Workout...spinning...I did not push myself at all today..I woke up late and my breakfast made me nauseous during cardio...I walked all around work today which probabaly burns alot of calories but does not do much for my muscle tone what I ate...Breakfast...same as usual http://i30.tinypic.com/34fjpd3.jpg snack I ate a granola bar and one of these 0 calorie sparkling beverages http://i28.tinypic.com/2mplg6x.jpg Lunch ah vegan sushi with my favorite healthy fat avocado...this was wonderful...I ate half the fruit salad at lunch and the other half a few hours later http://i25.tinypic.com/2gvlh93.jpg Dinner...I was too lazy to cook so I made a vegan wrap with smart deli slices and one slice of vegan cheese and of course cherries!!!   14. If you eat all raw food then you definitely need to supplement....You cannot get b12 from raw food. Regular vegans have an easier time of it because we drink fortified soy milk, eat cereal, and bread and other processed foods.
  15. You can see part of his salad in the background ...he eats vegetables but his idea of fruit is a mixed fruit cup by dole....He is a lacto ovo vegetarian.He drinks soymilk though. It's a start when we met he was an omni.
  16. When did you become a vegan?...B12 can buildup in the liver and if you ate meat and dairy not too long ago it can take a long while for you to become deficient. Also if you drink Soy milk or eat b-12 fortified cereals or a protein shake you should be ok as well. To be on the safe side everyone should take a multi at least...no matter what they eat.
  17. suicides are such great cardio...I start huffing and puffing after 3... ON the other hand the elliptical I am doing 250 strides per minute on a hill climb and can hold up an intelligent conversation.

When I went vegetarian I never looked back..meat grosses me out but the smell still smells good when I am hungry...I know it is not the actual meat that I want it is just the seasoning and flavor of it. No one eats raw meat it is the texture and seasoning that we find appetizing. SO...You probably aren't craving the actual meat..probably just the seasoning on it... get some Montreal steak seasoning or barbecue sauce or Boca chicken patties. Since you are a vegetarian you can eat flame grilled Boca burgers which taste like a real burger because they are kind of greasy. The longer you stick with it the easier it will be....13 years of not eating meat I don't miss it one bit. I will probably always miss reeses' peanut butter cups... and nutella I have yet to find a vegan version that holds up . vegan cheese is pretty good though...and milk is nasty.... soy milk is way better....and eggs always kind of grossed me out.
  22. I agree Stray cats are less uppity....sometimes... I will pretty much never set foot in a pet store again...unless I am protesting the sale of animals. I did have a chinchilla when I was 11 though...sweetest little critter my parents bought him for me.
  23. You should try to catch and spay some of them...the humane society does it for cheap and there are some groups that will do it for free...to cut down on the exponential growth of feral cats
