  1. Sometimes I'll add some turmeric because it tastes great in a scramble and gives more of an eggy look.
  2. Portland sounds more amazing every single day.
  3. I won't go into all of the fallacies in this recent "Test the Nation" that CBC issued, but here it is: http://www.cbc.ca/testthenation/results/groups.html
  4. I decided to forego the peanut butter. Blasphemy!
  5. Whew! What a relief. Thank you so much for getting that info!
  6. That rules! My roommate just told me that a very similar show is coming to America. Hopefully it will play in Canada too!
  7. I have a feeling that if I lived in Portland I would pig out on all of the sweets
  8. We should really make a "meateatersareevil.com" website and send it to them. I have a feeling it would destroy theirs.
  9. I enjoyed them when I used 'em. Now I'm using NOW's ADAM multivitamin.
  10. Yeah man, positive. It says exactly: "This product contains ingredients derived from dairy." Not.."this product is manufactured on equipment blah blah blah."
  11. I noticed veganessentials.com carries this so I figured it would indeed be a vegan product. I ended up buying the 2lb jug from another website and just noticed the following on the label: "Allergen Information: This product contains ingredients derived from dairy and proteins derived from soy." What gives? Sorry if this has already been posted.
  12. This is true, however the process of creating Splenda isn't all that simple. " 1. sucrose is tritylated with trityl chloride in the presence of dimethylformamide and 4-methylmorpholine and the tritylated sucrose is then acetylated with acetic anhydride, 2. the resulting TRISPA (6,1',6'-tri-O-trityl-penta-O-acetylsucrose) is chlorinated with hydrogen chloride in the presence of toluene, 3. the resulting 4-PAS (sucrose 2,3,4,3',4'-pentaacetate) is heated in the presence of methyl isobutyl ketone and acetic acid, 4. the resulting 6-PAS (sucrose 2,3,6,3',4'-pentaacetate) is chlorinated with thionyl chloride in the presence of toluene and benzyltriethylammonium chloride, and 5. the resulting TOSPA (sucralose pentaacetate) is treated with methanol (wood alcohol, a poison) in the presence of sodium methoxide to produce sucralose." More info can be found here: http://www.splendaexposed.com/articles/2005/11/the_hidden_chem.html and with all this crap are u going to give any scientific studies that have shown a negative effect of splenda? especially in the minute amount that would be absorbed by taking the one said supplement????? There's a consumer blog about the negative side effects: http://www.splendasickness.blogspot.com/

  14. I enjoy Creatine Ethyl Esther the most. I just buy it in bulk and cap it so I don't have to deal with the taste.
  15. Whether you were a drama freak or an emo poet, you definitely were expressive and unique. You're probably a little less weird these days - but even more talented!
  16. I love me some Regina Spektor! That song "Samson" is so good.
