  1. What a nice thing to do, Robert! The book rules, you already are making people beyond pleased. But thanks for the additional giveaways. Everything I could think of has already been posted.
  2. I really like your journal but was wondering, where did your website go?
  3. Super adorable - congrats!
  4. I saw that, it was awesome. Congrats. I'm glad they choose someone vegan, instead of getting a non-vegan to veganize some info. [Woah, a whole lotta vegan in that sentence, lol.]
  5. I find it on sale at Shoppers Drug Mart for around that price quite often. But getting it shipped in is usually cheaper.
  6. I worked out at GoodLife Fitness for 3 years and switched to LA Fitness a few months back.
  7. I order so many products from bb.com in the past, I'm surpriesd I've never seen Vega on there before. Did they just recently start carrying it? Or am I just blind? lol
  8. For some reason lately I find myself listening to podcasts. I just like the background noise, I suppose.
  9. I'm not so sure I'll be buying Alicia's book [but more then likely getting it at the library]. But I will, without a doubt, buy your book!
  10. I need to try Vega Sport, but I still have two containers of Vega left... ha. I need to stop stocking up on this stuff.

    Going Vegan

Ahh... the joys of a vegan partner. Enjoy it! And welcome!

    new, hi

Welcome. There's so many books outlining just how much damage is being done to our planet due to animal consumption. So welcome to the rad side.
  13. I can't wait to see this. And thankfully, the boyfriend is equally excited to see it.
  14. A vegan diet should not only be an option, but promoted as well. The more people eating vegan the better [although, I don't see that happening in prison]. I'm not saying gourmet meals - but quality vegan meals. Also, just think of SHAC 7 and other people in the same situation currently behind bars. I wonder if they are getting a heathly vegan diet option?
  15. I don't have an formal education in nutrition or anything health related. But I have read a zillion books, articles, medical journals and work away at a gym 60 hours a week [doing what I'm actually good at - taking care of the paper, numbers, and paychecks, hah]. I've been seriously considering going back to school to become a RD.
  16. Welcome. I've been meaning to cross the border one of these days and check out some of NYC's vegan restaurants.
  17. Diet for a New America by John Robbins changed my life completely.
