Hey Robert, Sorry I disappeared from the forum for a while...I am 140# and 5'7", male...A quick update -- I'm loving being vegan and have been working out nearly daily; though with the snow the university has been closed for days, so I haven't been at the gym (I'm trying to somewhat supplement the running with jogging in the snow and the lifting with handweights and pushups). Hope all is well! When are you heading down to Venice Beach? Peter

Hi All, My name is Peter, and I'm a student at a university near Portland, OR (originally from southern Minnesota). Robert Cheeke gave an excellent lecture in my philosophy class this evening (Thanks, Robert! ) and told me of this web site and its forums. I recently went vegan after being vegetarian for about 8 years prior. I'd resolved to "someday" become vegan; We watched "Peacable Kingdom" for the same class (on September 18) and realized: "I have to fully live my values NOW, not at some amorphous point later on." Anyway, I just wanted to let you all know I'm here and look forward to together chatting/discussing/learning more! Peace, Peter
