  1. Hi Shelby, may I share with you what works for me? I'm bulking up for the same reason as you and I've been eating wholefoods like brown rice, potatoes and veggies! I don't particularly care about protiens and carbs I'm just eating "good" foods and staying away from junk foods! I'm eating when I want to! I average at 5-6 meals a day and a gallon of water a day too, I find that the water helps a great deal! if you naturally have a small appetite then you may have a hard time gaining but me personally I love to eat so it's easy for me! also what works for me is to work out heavy and hard once a week for no more than 30-45 minutes! I personaly think your working out way too much for mass building, I do one exercise per body part and I do one set to absolute failure then rest for six days, I'm sure if you focus on hard heavy training your appetite will come and you will grow! hope this helped
  2. Hi there! have you figured out what type of body you want yet? research what type you want then train accordingly.
  3. Personally I believe Raw Veganism/Fruitarianism is the optimal diet/lifestyle but it all depends on how determined the individual is, if your willing to be partially natural (nothing is pure anymore) in a unatural world and are willing to put up with years of detox symptoms then Raw is the way to go for the best diet/lifestyle but if you don't want to go that far then personaly I really don't buy into the idea that cooked food veganism is so healthy because at the end of the day the food is cooked! I think it all boils down to digestion times! I often wonder if meat had a faster digestion transit time if there would be as many health orientated vegans!
  4. I need a avatar, I've tried to get a photo up but it's not working for me , so where do you none photo having avatar people get yours from?

  6. Hi guys, I'm currently doing hit for three weeks, it's hard to get info on it because everybody wants you to buy Mike Mentzers book called heavy duty! which does not make sense to me because if you know what your doing surely you can pass on the info! but anyway I'm not buying the book! but I managed to gather up some info about it on bodybuilding.com to be honest with you now I've started doing hit I've realised I have been wasting my time all these years!!! I'm getting great results from it! It's exactly like Daywalker said, I do one set to absolute failure and increase wieghts every workout I'm getting great results, I like simplicity so this works great for me!!!!! I had a hard time getting my head around just doing one set but believe me when your giving it your all until you really can't do no more you will learn that you will need that time off to rest your self, I think that the secret to it all is increasing the weight every workout! it's a shock to the system every week. It works for me because I'm into lifting heavy for short periods of time.
  7. Thanks Hero, that's makes sense!!!!!! Bigbwii.

  11. Hi guys, forgive me for asking a silly question but is it easy to maintain your mass when you've finished bulking up? Bigbwii
  12. VE, Thanks for your advice I'm pretty much on that path right now, this is the first time I've ever started this bulking up process and although I love it I'm kinda embarrassed about being much "fatter" than normal but I guess that comes with the job! Your right about having to be confident in your self to gain size! my take on it is that I have to push my body to do what it has never done before to get to where I want to be! Thanks, Bigbwii

  18. Hi guys! is there a real simple website that I can go to to calculate my calories and nutrient intake? I tried fitday.com and found it really hard to understand!!! I'm not very clever anyway I'm trying to see if working out my intake is worth it or if I should just keep things simple and enjoy eating and training hard! Thanks guys
