  1. Rob, do you still ever try to get into the sports therapy aspect of the WWF? That might be good for you, especially if you still wanted to use massaging (if they do it at all) to train your arms again.
  2. I don't really know either. If I'm having about 30 - 40 grams of protein anyway, I'm full after that normally (That translates to a huge bowl of Lentil Soup, or about 4 banana's with peanut butter). As for eating over 500 calories in a meal, I should watch that sometime, because I've eaten much more in a meal, but I wonder if that's only for a person at rest?
  3. LOL... I totally agree! I eat every 1-3 hours... my grocery bill is insane I know what you mean, sometimes I laugh to myself thinking "If I wasn't a weightlifter and didn't eat organic, I could probably feed myself for pennies a day." But organic is a must anyway.
  4. Rob, I read that bread or anything made from a "dough" (cookies, bagels, etc. etc) are incredibly hard to digest, and that there's no food in nature that we eat like them. I personally have only had bread once since I started lifting weights again back in September, although peanut butter sandwiches could probably build my mass up...but there aren't any good breads anyway, anyway, I'm blabbing.... I don't really eat pasta or bread though, and unless I eat a *LOT* of food, I don't really have many digestion problems either though.
  5. I do hanging leg raises, they work well, and normally they have some machines at my gym, but my 6 pack isn't that impressive as of yet, I need more food to build them.
  6. Well, I don't think it would be that hard, you'd just have to eat smaller and more frequently, but I love sitting down with some kind of nice sized meal. I'm at the point where I eat very frequently, but being a 21 year old who cardios his body to a state of no return, I need calories, and I like having something nice that's going to fill me, 'ya know?
  7. I agree with Alex. It can be hard to be 100% raw, though I think it can be harder if you're trying to bodybuild and add mass. I hover between 60 - 70% raw though (and now that I think about it, most of the food I eat does qualify as "fruitarian friendly"), but the "empty calories" from a big bowl of lentil soup can really help me out. I agree too though, Bigbwii, some of the replicas & substitutions seem to get out of hand sometimes. Some of the "raw recipes" you see on the internet seem to get out of hand, it's better to stick to whole food anyway.
  8. I heard it was a little closer, closer to about 40 grams. That would suck if it is indeed only about 24 - 25 grams though, seeing as how I like lentil soup by the gallon.
  9. BIGBWII ISN'T COOKING ANYTHING! HE EATS RAW! ....I'm sorry, I had to. This is quite the thing that's gotten started, all the "trash talk". I don't know how I'd fare up against anyone on this site in a wrestling match. If I got matched up against someone on here, my strategy would be to try & outrun them until they got tired enough to pin, but this is a fitness forum, so that could take a while....
  10. A clean house is a sign of a wasted life.
  11. We should make a vegan wrestling federation. I'd pay money to watch Bigbwii wrestle Rob, and I'm not even a wrestling fan. You never know though, isn't vegan bodybuilding a bit too much in it's infancy to tell just how fit & healthy we'd look when we get up there in years?
  12. I'm just getting abs for the first time in my life (terribly undeveloped, I was never fat or anything), so they're nice to see. That waterfall looks amazing though Tarz.
  13. I think it's great that the products get to the mainstream for other people to see, but I don't really buy them, well, unless you consider organic food getting everywhere a sign of buyouts, but that's about it.
  14. Mine are similar to Rob's in one of his nutrition programs. Half the blender with non-concentrate OJ. 2 banana's 1 kiwi 7 strawberries 12 blueberries Then I put in flaxseed and raw wheat germ too, for the nutritional kick, since college kids can't afford vega.
  15. Saying that means to take it step by step, which is much more effective, that's the way I chose too.
  16. ....Yes...I mean uh.....::runs away:: No though, Rob and SeaSiren decided they were going to go train, and facing an empty chatroom, I decided to do sit ups and push ups at the house, there's always a next time though.
  17. I'll be around, I'm online quite a bit, though I don't know how often I'd get to meet with people in Europe with time differences and everything else.
  18. At Sunday 8 pm eastern time I'm on. (April 2nd)
  19. That's an awesome idea. I really wish they'd punish litterers much more harshly, or even fine them, I swear, I feel my blood boil when I'm out and see a plastic bag in the street drifting around.
  20. They are awesome pictures, I love the vega shirt you have on too. Photobucket resizes any picture that's over 250 (?) kilobtyes though too.
  21. I'm always hot, but then ladies love this....::Flex:: ....Oh wait, we're talking about body temperature? I get cold, but I sometimes sit at the computer for a couple of hours, so my heating system tends to turn off, but once I start exercise I'm normally warm.
  22. I know it's good to support family farms for stuff, but milk still isn't for us, I wish they wouldn't have recommended that, even though family farms would probably be more sustainable.
  23. Wait, we can all do little edits on it? If that's not the case, I'd definitley throw a few words in there. I always wanted to do an article on wikipedia, but for the most part, with that site, it seems that if it exists, someone else already wrote an article about it.
  24. Milk used to be my energy source, but then I grew teeth.
