  1. Found a group after posting this http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=20677773558&sid=1&pageNo=1 pretty funny how a simple question can get the meat eaters all fired up.
  2. Haven't played for about a year but thinking of coming back to try out that new death knight. Anyone have room for a fellow very casual (don't have much time to play) vegan in their guild? Thanks.
  3. Tofurky Italian Sausage 270 calories, 29g protein per sausage. I eat two at a time.
  4. I wasn't going to say anything else, but I can't help myself. Someone said that if you drink how could you have enough willpower to be vegan? Well when you drink or do any other "vice" for that matter you are making a personal decision about how to treat YOUR body. Where as being vegan is about not mistreating another beings body. I think that is the main difference. Also, in moderation, most "vices" can be a very fun experience. It's those with no self control that ruin it for everyone else.
  5. @ Dr Pink. The Whole Foods in Sacramento has a vegan Cabernet made by Organic Wine Works only 10 bucks and tastes as good as a lot of 50 dollar wines.

  7. Hi all, been vegan for about 8 years now. I'm 5' 10" 145 lbs and tired of giving vegans a bad name. Always get the "you aren't getting enough protein" line from people. Funny thing is I weighed the same when I ate meat. I have read the site and have greatly increased my caloric intake lately. The key is definitely eating 5 to 6 times a day and it is helping. Also, I am taking weight lifting at school where we use a journal which makes more of a difference then I thought it would. My goal is to gain as much mass as possible so am doing the heavy weights 12-10-8 reps three sets each. Any other vegans in Sacramento area want a workout partner? Always looking for advice. Thanks in advance.
