  1. I'm over half way through and loving it! I ordered from Vegan Essentials and it arrived the next day! I was shocked at how quickly it got to me!
  2. Awww I was really looking forward to the morning workouts! But definitely do what you have to do. I understand funds being tight. I'm going to be struggling the next few months after the conference for sure! I'm only able to go because of the $20/night rooms! I hope everything works out for you! And Matt Foley rocks
  3. Anger Management....that was the most frustrating movie for me to watch and I actually left the theater. I just sucked.
  4. Thanks for the info guys! I like the idea of eating a little something before and then maybe a bigger breakfast after. I think I will give that a go.
  5. I did a search and couldn't really find the answer to my question so sorry if this has been asked before, but when do you eat breakfast? Before your morning work out or after? I've heard it so many different ways as to which is suppose to be more beneficial. I was just curious what you all follow.

  8. I got rid of my tv about...hmmm I think it's almost been a year and a half ago. It was just too depressing. I have netflix and hulu that I will watch stuff on occasionally.

  10. Heya! Welcome! I was that kid too...except I was just not athletic at all. Scrawny, awkward, and never really understood the concept of competition. Now I play roller derby and I'm actually pretty good at it And I'm working on gaining more muscle. Anyways, good luck with your show! See ya around the forum

  13. When Underworld first came out I was so in love with Kate Beckinsale's hair and for some reason got the brilliant idea to cut and dye my own hair to look the same. I threw my hair in a pony tail and chopped it off...the out come was okay. I wasn't too disappointed, but I definitely wouldn't do it again.   14. I'm going I'm super excited too. I've never been to anything like this before. Only been vegan for about 2 years and I feel I have so much to learn! So I'm ready to soak it all up at the conference! Hope to meet some of you there!
  15. Positive thinking can change the world. I tend to be a pretty cynical person, but I've been reading a lot about The Law of Attraction recently which deals a lot with your thoughts. I'm starting to see how my negative thinking really has created who I am today and I'm looking to change that now. I do notice when I commit to positive thoughts I feel a lot better. It's just difficult to do when you've been in the habit of negative thinking for years, but I'm certainly getting better

  17. Thanks for the welcome I'm sure I gained a little bit of muscle but I feel so tiny. I know I definitely need to increase my strength training because derby practice is mainly cardio.

  19. Hello everyone! New girl here from Wisconsin (though it must be known my heart will always be in Washington State). Anyways, I went vegan about 8 months ago. Around that same time I started playing roller derby 3 times a week. I lost a lot of weight...which wasn't my intention as I'm already pretty small. I joined here because I need to up my muscle and endurance and I'm finding it difficult to do at the moment. I get full really easily. Over the last month I tried to just eat more of what I was already eating and ended up losing more weight. I know I'm doing something wrong here. I'm hoping to find some good tips and nice people to help me out. Thanks!
