  1. he asked how to do a 30p/50c/20f on a vegan diet. supplementing with pea protein (25p,4c,1f) is how i achieve that ratio. im not an authority, so i didn't want to recommend it without having researched thoroughly myself... which is why i added the line about not knowing the quality of it as a protein source. and yes i will search first next time. although so far most of the 24 pages for "pea" are about taste or recipes. i did see two posts by you that it is slow/low absorption.
  2. i'm curious about this topic as well. specifically, how many months i should take to drop from 12% bf to 7-8% and how to do it without loosing a lot of mass. there must be some detailed threads on here, but not quite sure what to search for/where to begin.
  3. i've been supplementing with pure advantage pea protein for almost two years. 125 cal/25g protein would be curious if anyone had opinions of the quality of the protein as i never considered peas to be high protein .
  4. do you have caffeine later in the day? i've been finding caffeine sometimes causes me to have this hunger that i can't get rid of in the evening
  5. I know I'm new here, but I've always been a proponent of positive energy. You might be able to use the "ill show him" to motivate short term, but long-term to get to the gym, follow your diet, and give every workout your full effort, you need to love what you're doing. One the best feelings for me is pushing the weight on bench press or military press. This feeling and enjoyment makes me look forward to getting the gym (now i want to go again right now ). Intuition makes you think anger can fuel more strength, but I find it just tires me out. My advice is to put that guy out of mind and do it 100% for yourselves. And when you guys kick some ass, showing that guy what's up will just be the added bonus. How long until you are planning to compete?
  6. Was going to make my own thread, but might as well tag on to this one. I'm also in OC and found out about this site at worldfest. I'm very psyched to drop the last non-vegan thing from my diet: whey protein shakes. This site has me convinced that using hemp/pea/etc will work just as well. Cheers and thanks for having these resources here!
