I'm just now slowly transitioning to the vegetarian/vegan world. I've been wanting to for some time, but with all of the "negative stereotyping" that has been associated wth vegetarian/vegan, I stayed with the old meat eating diet. What really turned me around was reading a book someone recommended to me-- "Skinny Bastard". Since then, I've been reading more about what eating meat has done to me as an individual, and to us as a society. I know it won't be easy, but, I'm convinced that this is the best way to optimum health...especially now that I'm almost looking at 40. Any advice for this 'newbie' is welcome.
