  3. wanna trade metabolisms?!! please?? Anywho, i'd suggest getting as many good fats in as possible, nuts, avocados, olive oil, etc.. To gain fat you must consume more calories than you are burning.
  4. wow what are you guys eating that makes you go more than once a day? I am pretty regular once a day, unless i'm eating unhealthily (is that a word?) and i havent gotten enough fiber. Its very rare i go more than once a day unless i'm doing some kind of clense
  5. make sure you are consuming NO artificial sweetners, those make me really tired and weak

  8. Did you say you want to lose more fat? What is you age? height? weight? Body Fat percentage? age 19, 5'11, unsure of weight, but awile ago i had my bfp taken and it was like 19%!! Good ideas about the essential fatty acids i will give that a try thanks everyone again for the tips (compliments are quite nice too )
  9. come on peeps this is a good thread everyone should be posting! today i ateeee: breakfast- 1 slice sprouted bread, strawberry cultured soy lunch- broccoli with baba ghannouge dinner- huge romaine salad with chile dressing and chickpeas and a few tablespoons of the smoothie i made for my brother (i made it with soy yogurt and he had no idea, he loved it, and is usually really closed off to trying new things) tommorrow i want to try my hemp protein powder, i'm just a bit weary

  11. argh i hate training shoulders, its my weakest part... moved up 15 lbs this week for legs though bravo for me.
  12. i appreciate the replies... what about nutrition? The part that is tricky here is loosing the fat and maintaining/growing muscle, because when you cut back on calories you risk going into starvation mode and muscle wasting... anyone know more about this? specific foods that would be beneficial?
  13. alternative baking companies cookies are the best cookies i've ever eaten vegan or not... i dont really eat them anymore though, the worst trouble i have with junk food is alcohol because its so easy to just down liquid calories... and then your buzzed and you no longer care about calories so you have another glass
  14. Hi there, i posted this in the womens fitness section as well, but i dont think it is quite as popular as this section... I want to look something like this http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y196/RtotheC/ddd.jpg i currently look something like this its an old pic but you get the idea, we are roughly the same height... What should i eat? What should my work out routine be like? I currently do about an hour of cardio 6-7 days a week, and do weights (leg extension, and calf raises) every other day. I go through phases where i'll do arms and abs but right now i'm focusing on my legs. Any advice would be well appreciated!

  17. I get that sometimes - I just give as good as I get or make a gesture or two with my fingers or hand. Or I'll give the verbals back. Or an evil glare works fine too if I can't be bothered to gesticulate. I turned a corner on a run a few weeks back and someone was speeding on the pavement on a bicycle - I had to jump into the road to avoid her. I gave her a proper mouthful, proper fffing and blinding. She deserved it silly woman - could of seriously injured me or worse. i've been known to give the finger... keep in mind its different for a female, a bit more dangerous when it comes to catcalls and talking back..
