  1. First season was awesome, second not so much, third wasn't worth a damn =(
  2. Not pumped but I'm in the kitchen damnit! I've focused mostly on running the last two months so I might have lost a bit of mass, I'm not sure though. http://i39.tinypic.com/2ziswhv.jpg Please note the fine amount of sweet potato, potato, carrots and broccoli that I'm steaming.
  3. Judge Gaslight anthem Youth of today
  4. My dad had a friend whos fathers cousin claimed his chest grew a lot more using dumbbells. Not only the volume increased but the shape of his chest improved a lot too.
  5. You're not right about anything. Fats are not essential to get the the creamy texture like you wrote. It might be needed if you're weak and can't finnish your ice cream in one sitting but that's another discussion for another thread.
  6. You mean you can freeze it overnight and it's not hard as a rock? Who doesn't finnish their ice cream? You're weird.
  7. Toxicity isn't an issue at those dosages but supplementing with vitamins and minerals without an actual need is usually not a good thing. And the price is way too high.
  8. Allthough you still haven posted your goals I would say you're fine the way you are eating now. If you would want to lose weight the nuts would probably be the first thing you should remove and if you want to gain weight and have a hard time doing so adding more nuts is probably the easiest thing.
  9. That's not goals, that's different individuals. And you would still need to post the rest of the diet if you want a good answer.
  10. I think you need to be more specific regarding what your goals are if you want good answers to your questions. Also some more info on what and how much you are eating. Cubby. Two tbsp of flax per day is the upper safe limit to not risk toxicity from cyanide. Just saying.
  11. Fat sucks, dried figs do the job. Trust me. Fuhrman has a youtube video of it I think.
  12. Calories are what matters, not the macronutrient breakdown. There are a lot of quacks out there trying to claim a so called "metabolic advantage" for low carb diets (and some for low fat). But they are stupid and doesn't know how to read scientific studies properly. However protein is sort of an exception because it counts as 4,1 kcal but when you use if for energy you actually get a fair bit less (maybe around 3 kcal) and it has been proposed to lower the calorie count for protein. But the way we count today, given that protein intake and calorie intake is constant it does not matter if you eat the rest of your calories from only fat or only carbs or a mix. You will lose the same amount of bodyfat. On the low carb you would lose a bit more weight due to glycogen depletion and the water that goes with it, but that's not somethin to strive for.
  13. Well the dried figs are essential for getting the right texture so in this case use dried figs and not fresh ones if you can!!! =)
  14. Welcome to the forum. Nutrition is an awesome science. =)
  15. This. I think vega is stupid because getting the rdi for every vitamin and mineral in one serving of anything is not a good thing. Go with a regular protein powder and save money.
  16. Frozen chopped bananas Dried figs Berries if you feel like it Blend! It's sooooo good.
  17. Unless you have a mutation in the HFE gene which would cause haemochromatosis or you don't suffer from things like constipation you will be fine. If you train a lot and sometimes drink tea, coffe, cocoa etc to your meals your intake is probably just doing you good. Otherwise replace the vega with a normal protein powder.
  18. Yeah I read your blogpost and that quote and it does not contradict or adress what I wrote. I suggested it would be more comparable to use something with a lower pH and stirring because it would ressemble a human stomach more than still vinegar.
  19. Just some random thoughts. I believe the most sour vinegar is around 2,4 on the pH scale while gastric juice is around 1, it's a pretty big difference but maybe not big enough to make it significant. Also, wouldn't the test be more fair if you stirred every now and then? The stomach has some pretty big movements to mix the food around and it might influence how well the pill i dissolved.
