  1. Could I get one free consultation? I mean - I treat you reasonable well on the forums. Doesn't that account for something?
  2. I really like the smoothie infusion. It got me making more smoothies; now that's all I do with the chocolate Vega. I don't do the recommended action which is to mix it with water. To each his own...
  3. Here you go. Some people on the forum use Vega, and Robert Cheeke is one of their ambassadors. http://www.myvega.com
  4. I also agree that you just need to try it and find what works best. No one person can tell you what works for you. I've also found on a personal level it depends on fitness level at any given time; switching 'drastically' made me sick until I adapted more slowly as I was (am still am a little) overweight. I was so indoctrinated into the thinking that to build muscle you needed large amounts of protein, rather than just keeping calories up (enough protein is in there). I'm finding that's just not the case. And frankly, hearing people say it here in the forums never convinced me until I chose to try it. I eat nuts sparingly now but derive protein mainly from fruits, vegetables, legumes and Vega, but I really don't think about it too much or track it much. I'm assuming I'm getting 5-10% protein from my daily diet and I'm also losing weight, mainly because I'm keeping my calories high enough with a whole foods diet and eating as much as I want.
  5. I can't comment on anything I've found and sold on the black market. Not that I visit septic tanks and sewer systems in Portland. That much.
  6. Welcome, endurancewannabe. Yeah, you are in the right place. Glad to hear you are making the transition!
  7. I don't remember. I honestly don't remember. I'll look back in 89 and 90 and check it out. I did beat a couple local road pros in an "A" miss-and-out race. That was my *real* moment of glory. Gear ratios usually depend on the event you are doing, or even the time of year you are in due to training. In other words, if you are doing match sprints, you don't want to be riding a 54 x 12 (or bigger gear) if you are out of shape. That's a great way to blow out your knees until you adapt.
  8. And still be called raw: http://www.organicconsumers.org/articles/article_4859.cfm Check out the latest stuff as well; some very important issues happening NOW. Andesuma is probably very aware of this stuff as well! http://www.organicconsumers.org
  9. He'll rebel, and who knows what form that will take.
  10. So why is this thread in entertainment forum again? I fail to see the connection.
  11. Hey, Robert, why don't you ever reply? Just kidding. You've always replied to my messages. No problems here.
  12. Hey, Robert, glad you made 7000 before potter. He doesn't deserve it.
  13. I always loved the pursuit. That's my deal.
  14. Dang...that ring work always blows me away.
  15. Cool...another West Coaster! Welcome from SC...
  16. If someone's foot touches the ground, it's all over anyway. The other sprinter will win easily from there. Cool videos. Dang you, potter.
  17. Also, if true, this truly makes this an animal rights issue. Getting people to give up their cellphones...hmm
  18. Wow. Funny how in the US there is never a problem with our technology and never any dangers from it. The cellphone studies from Europe showing cancer rate increases are shut out completely in the US as well. Not surprised...
  19. Hmmm...good question. Not sure, but I found a similar article from 2001 as well, so this has been happening for a while. Seems like one of those things that's "creeping up" on us and may come back to bite us, at least the way it's being made out and the lack of 'solutions' to the problem.
