  1. Hi, what are some of your favorite Pilates videos? I currently have: Crunch Burn and Firm Pilates Crunch Super Slim Down Yoga Pilates Blend NYC Ballet workout 2 Method's Pilates Fusion Pilates Plus Kari Anderson's Reach
  2. I have mild Ulcerative Colitis so I have quite a few digestive problems as well and know what you are going through. Have you been tested for Inflammatory Bowel Disease (such as colitis or crohn's). Here's a link to a raw foodist who claims to have cured his IBD with raw foods: http://www.paulnison.com/paulsbooks.htm It's a good idea to keep a detailed food log. it may help pin point some of your food issues.
  3. Does anyone know of any online raw food shops located in Canada? I found a number of US based that do ship to Canada, but they are all in Califoria (sp?). I live in Nova Scotia so that is a long way to ship. Are there any US online shops closer to where I live (and ship to Canada)? Thanks
  4. Be sure to let us know how some of those recipes turn out!
  5. "The Thrive Diet" is on Amazon.ca now, has anyone read it yet?
  6. I just bought this book, can't wait to read it. I read Sam Harris's "The End of Faith", also very good. I really like this website: http://godisimaginary.com/
  7. I live in Nova Scotia; I've lived here all my life! thanks everyone for your warm welcome.
  8. Hi, I've visited this board many times before finally signing up. I really like it here. I've been working out for many years now, but am just starting to really get into weight lifting the past few months. I was a cardio and yoga junkie before. I was a lacto-ovo vegetarian (very little eggs and dairy though) for 10 months about 4 months ago, but for some reason meat starting slipping back into my diet again. Basically, I had meat one day and the "logic" was, "Well, I guess I can't be a vegetarian anymore." Not that I started eating a lot of meat. I had it about once a week. But now, I want to go back to the way I ate before because I feel better physically and mentally. So I'm hoping this board will be my support (since I know no other vegetarians and no other fitness buffs). I will share this because I think it is weird. But when family memebers saw me eating meat again, they were all happy and glad. I didn't get it. I think they should have been disappointed! Anyways, it's time for me to recommit.
