I joined an outdoor team but am having the hardest time finding non-leather shoes with cleats. Anyone have any luck?

Hey! My work is having a grill out at a park this weekend and I was looking for some of your favorite grilling recipes. What types of veggies do you love to grill? What dressings or marinades do you whip up? Is there a brand of veggie dogs or burgers that you love? Gimme all you got!

Hello fellow vegans! So you may remember a few months ago I posted about being lost when going to the gym. I didn't know what I was doing so I decided to get a personal trainer. I'm planning on doing it all on my own starting next week because there's tons of information online on that I can use now that I have the basic form down. What I am confused on is food intake. My trainer suggested that I eat 6 meals a day including protein suppl elements three times a day to up my energy and metabolism. From what I understand I should be eating 3 meals and 3 snacks. I know there are many posts about what you guys generally eat but I'm looking for a guideline on what helps you decide your meals. What is an ideal meal? What would be a good snack? How many times a day should I take a protein supplement? I've seen some mention websites that you can track your intake but I don't know if that's for me. Any help you guys can help me with is much appreciated. Thank you!

Toning exercise plan
WorldInMyEyes replied to WorldInMyEyes's topic in Bodybuilding/Strength Training
I forgot to mention that I go to 24 hr fitness so I have access to a good amount of equiptment. -
I'm sorry if this should be posted in a different section of the forum. I'm hoping that someone would be able to help me out with a routine for toning my body. I'm hoping to see the muscles on my body and see the definition, but not bulk up too much. I plan to dedicate 5 days a week to going to the gym and will also run on my free time. I feel lost when I go to the gym, and if I had a routine, even if it's something to start with I would feel more confident. I searched the forum for previous topics similar to this one but could not find what I'm looking for. Thank you all of you

21 Vegan and ready to tone!
WorldInMyEyes replied to WorldInMyEyes's topic in Bodybuilding/Strength Training
Thank you for the information! I'm looking to workout 5 times a week. Any suggestions on routines I can use to tone? -
Hello everyone! My name is Clinton, I'm 21 years old, and I'm ready to take control of my body, my health, and my life. I've been a vegetarian for 7 years and recently turned vegan thanks to my bandmates. Ever since I was a little kid I've had a tummy and now I'm ready to get the dream body I've always wanted. I'm so happy that a place like this exists. I was tired of talking to people who said it was impossible and impractical. My goal here is to get information on how to tone my body and make good use of the gym membership I have. I'm also learning more about being vegan everyday so I'll be able to contribute with information and fun recipes. It's good to be here

Hey guys! I'm Clinton and I've been a vegetarian for 7 years. My bandmates helped me realize that vegan living is the way to go. I'm 5' 10" and weigh about 160 pounds. I have two more days left on the master cleanse and I'm eager to get back in the gym and take control of my body. Thing is...I feel lost when I go to the gym. My goal is to tone my body, not really bulk up. Sure I'd like to have nice muscles, but I want an overall slim look. If anyone has come across some good workout routines please feel free to pass them my way. Another question I have is about food intake. I usually have soymilk, tofu, etc throughout the day and eat plenty of nuts, grains and veggies. Do you guys also take protein shakes? Should they be taken before or after a workout? I hope to gain confidence and be able to walk in to my gym and know what I'm doing. Thank you so much, I know that this is the best decision I could be making in my life right now
