  1. Please know you did the last kind thing you could for your dog. When I lost my best friend Freckles 2 years ago, I decided to have her portrait tattooed on my arm as a constant reminder that she's always with me in spirit. I also read a book called For Every Dog an Angel by Christine Davis. Her website is www.lightheartedpress.com. That seemed to ease the pain a little.

I know nothing I can say can comfort you. Please know I'm thinking of all of you who have been in this difficult situation. Last week my other dog was diagnosed with lymphoma. Right now he's not in any pain. He still wags his tail and enjoys most of his food. Still loves his belly rubs and his face scratched. the only symptom thus far is weight loss and he's a bit pickier about his food. I keep praying he won't get to the point of starting to suffer, but if he does there is no doubt that I will once again make the decision to put him to sleep. I hope I don't have to and that he'll pass in his sleep. I won't let him suffer either. Please know I'm thinking of you. I know Charlie is up there with Freckles. Take care.

  2. I luckily don't have any unwanted side effects when I take any of the Vega. I just overall feel more energy. I take the vega Sport Protein in Vanilla right after I lift. Sometimes I change it up with the Vega Whole Food Optimizer in Vanilla Chai flavor- my favorite!! I think there's also a Vega Sport product to use during workouts that's more like an endurance product. If you're allergic or possibly allergic to the hemp, SunWarrior makes apretty good (in my opinion) rice protein. Good luck.

  3. Don't let those guys stop you from lifting! My gym is a similar situation, weight area mostly male dominated, but even though it can be intimidating I keep going. I just crank up my music and go about my business. Sometimes if I can't get to the gym I do work out at home with free weights, but I like using all the equipment at the gym. Good luck no matter what you decide.

  4. I'm a hairdresser and I usually cut my own hair. Sometimes you just can't trust a hairdresser

You could most definitely do it yourself. If you're going to buzz it all over, there should be no problem. Just invest in a decent pair of clippers and take your time. If you're planning on keeping the top a bit longer then you'll need a set that includes guides or is adjustable. Start out with the longer guides or settings and if it's too long you can always go shorter. Just make sure any attachments are secure before you start.....don't want to find out the hard way that the guide wasn't secure. Good luck with your cutting endeavors!

  5. You can do it, sounds like you just need a plan of some sort. I try not to think of eating clean (and vegan) and working out regularly as a diet, but instead a lifestyle change. Figure out what your goals are and go from there. Looking at everything at once can be overwhelming, but you have to figure out what works for you personally. This site and all of the members are tremendously helpful and motivating. Welcome to the clan! Best of luck to you.
