  1. Thanks for posting this!! Bought the Vanilla
  2. Seriously pal what the f*ck did you post this for??? Someone politely offers to answer people's questions on her religion & you respond by posting this racist bullshit? Why not have some respect & delete the post? Agree.
  3. I haven't eaten meat for over 10yrs and definately, at some point I will make the shift to full vegan. Eggs I hardly eat, maybe a couple a week. I haven't drank milk for years; I sometimes use either rice/almond milk but mainly I use a milk substitute that I mix up with water. I don't want to seem too restrictive with my foods as I have a 3yr old and 5yr old (both girls), so it's crucial for my wife and myself to be teaching them the importance of a healthy, balanced & varied diet. They already know that "Daddy doesn't eat meat", so I'm holding off the veganism until they're a little older and I can explain my reasonings for doing what I do Hai I don't mean to be a meanie, but fish is meat. It's a dead animal. A lot of veg*ns are a bit picky about the term pesco-vegetarian, because vege- vegetables tarian- one who is, describes someone who eats plant based materials. While this definition some how- arguably - came to mean eating eggs and dairy, it still does not include fish, understandably so, because as stated it is still eating a dead animal. It's way cool that you want to make the full shift to veganism though! Way to go man! Tank the plunge, you wont regret it. Also, I wont even touch on your kids because I know that's a touchy subject, I'll simply say that the healthiest, and most compassionate for the animals the the planet, diet is a vegan one. I'm sure they may also enjoy a great variety if they ate plants that they may not have yet. Good luck on your goals!
  4. I gained almost all my weight when I was 11/12 years old, and I ended up with some pretty horrific stretch marks everywhere you'd expect them, I personally had one shaded with a light pink tattooing, so I would always have it after they all fade (which they did, except that one) to remind me never to let myself get back there again. Ever. Also, Cocoabutter lotion and vitamin e lotion is pretty awesome.
  5. Yeeea it seems a little silly to me, but I figure they're trying I guess, and maybe they thought carefully about that 20% and/or are actively working to replace that 20% with some veg friendly stuff!
  6. I recycle every thing I can, Buy my dog's food through compassionate sources, Buy as much second had as possible, 100% vegan life, from the mousse in my hair to the shoes on my feet, I don't drive, I bike, Never buy fast food, Never drink or smoke, Buy vegan food for homeless people, and I'm getting my JD in Animal law!
  7. Vega Pre workout energizer, 5k Jog 9 hours of sleep!! I hope I win I hope I win because I'll never be able to afford it if I dont!!
  8. Thats really awesome, and good luck! I actually hope to go into law enforcement when I get out of college. You're in very good company here!
  9. After a few months off this forum, I have returned for a very simple reason, today is day one of training for the Tour De' Whatcom. I log my food on MyFitnessPal so I won't double log here, this will just be to keep track and focus on my training. Monday through Thursday I have a yoga class at college (I love getting credit for doing something fun), which is super awesome and keeps me flexible for riding days. May 18th, 2011: 35mile ride, average 21mph, Hills and waterfront!

  12. Welcome I'm just North of you In Bellingham
  13. I'll usually tell the host before hand that I cannot eat any meat, eggs, dairy, or honey. I'll ask if that'll cause any problems, as I can bring my own dish as well if they like. If I do all that, I get there, and there isn't anything for me to eat still, I'll politely decline, and stop by the vegan drive through on my way home.
  14. Yes! Why do they stay on the side of the trail until you're RIGHT THERE. It was creek, or the tree but I thought the creek would hurt less. And that is crazy spring action to keep that heart rate! That is awesome.
  15. I have a nice big cushy gel filled seat. Still hurts after a while. I don't like bike shorts. Not enough freedom. I think my butt just gets numb, and luckily doesn't hurt later. I just got done with a really great ride, that ended with me flying into a creek to not hit a suicidal bunny. My cushioned bike shorts really helped with the impact.
  16. Thats why you get bike pants, and a seat cover!
  17. Bicycling helped my butt more than anything else.
  18. I either grow my own (organically) or buy organic, I do not buy conventional food at all anymore, and I'm lucky enough to live in a community where there are TONS of local farms to choose from. I choose to be organic because I do not want my body exposed to the chemicals and pesticides, and I don't want to contribute to the destruction that they wreak on the environment.
  19. Mix with fruit and rice milk w/ice
