  6. Marcina, It is fine to workout with cysts, unless you are feeling severe pain of course. I have had ovarian cysts, and I understand the pain & the pain of a cyst rupture!   7. Archeologists recently unearthed a burial site in Turkey containing the bodies of 60 Roman gladiators. Tests to their remains led researchers to conclude the gladiators ate an exclusively plant-based diet. In fact, researchers used the word "vegan" to describe the gladiators. In the following video John McDougall MD describes the new find on gladiators. He also pokes fun at the biases of researchers -- who stretch to explain why the most powerful fighters of the ancient world ate a vegan diet. Of course, gladiators weren't alone. The entire Roman army went on a vegan diet whenever they went into battle.

  14. I had such a great day! Great work out & no knee pain or back pain! Worked out with my trainer yesterday, she is great- helping me work around my injury. I had been watching my diet, trying to cut back on my fat intake. My weakness is corn chips.... Soy latte green drink with sun warrior blueberries & 1/2 a banana 1/2 apple & almond butter ( really small amount) large salad with tomato, cukes, carrot, garbanzo beans corn tortilla with pinto beans & salsa

  17. Ouch! lower back has been torture for days! my Chiro is doing a xray & mri next week. I went for a long walk in the rain monday - it was sooooooo nice. Today I worked out my upper body with My trainer, it was good but feeling pain in my back bums me out, my strength isnt full force . I hope to heal quickly!

  20. thanks Robert- feeling much better! So busy lately with work......whew- its a good thing! So my knee is still messed up but I'm still working out! and feeling good. My knee is pulling my hip out and my lowerback- which really hurts! I have been visiting my chiropractor weekly and she is really helping me! I went to the doctor to get a referral to go see a knee specialist the other day, he said I was a healthy woman! my blood pressure is 99/57, I have always had pretty low blood pressure. I had a great work outs this week- tues & thurs day upper body days, mon & today lower body. Im eating clean & trying to lower my body fat. I missed out on a lot of sleep lately, cooking late at my office. omg ....... gotta luv the sunshine!! & 70 degree's I hope to go to the coast tomorrow its only 45 mins away but seems longer because of the twisted curvy roads.
