  1. I started listening while playing games but i stopped playing games last year because it wasnt helping me in anyway other than being an escape from my reality. I'd say start off listening while youre gaming and if you might become more interested in learning and start writing while you listen instead. You remember a lot more when you if you take notes rather than just passively listening.
  2. LOL muu. If you don't feel like reading a whole book I recommend audiobooks. It depends if the reader is charismatic but you can go through entire books in 1 day which is awesome if youre like me and get sleepy after reading 10 pages Seriously though, learning feels amazing. I prefer self help genre at the moment its really helping me grow as a person and gives me lots to talk about in conversations. I posted youtube links for each of those books i listed. Theyre complete audiobooks if you wanna sample some and see if you resonate.
  3. Post amazing books! The way of the superior man by David Deida What is your true purpose in life? What do women really want? What makes a good lover? If you're a man reading this, you've undoubtedly asked yourself these questions-but you may not have had much luck answering them. Until now. In The Way of the Superior Man, David Deida explores the most important issues in men's lives-from career and family to women and intimacy to love and spirituality and relationships-to offer a practical guidebook for living a masculine life of integrity, authenticity, and freedom. Join this bestselling author and internationally renowned expert on sexual spirituality for straightforward advice, empowering skills, body practices, and more to help you realize a life of fulfillment, immediately and without compromise. "It is time to evolve beyond the macho jerk ideal, all spine and no heart," writes David Deida. "It is also time to evolve beyond the sensitive and caring wimp ideal, all heart and no spine." The Way of the Superior Man presents the ultimate challenge-and reward-for today's man: to discover the 'unity of heart and spine' through the full expression of consciousness and love in the infinite openness of the present moment. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnaYROIzsus King, Warrior, Magician, Lover by Moore & Gillette Arguing that mature masculinity is not abusive or domineering, but generative, creative, and empowering of the self and others, Moore and Gillette provide a Jungian introduction to the psychological foundations of a mature, authentic, and revitalized masculinity. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILbQgjigtBQ No more Mr Nice Guy by Robert Glover Glover's premise is that nice guys have been conditioned by their childhoods and by society to believe that they will be successful only if they make everyone happy and never cause any problems for others. However, this desire for approval results in self-loathing. In other words, nice guys want approval, but don't think they deserve it. This creates internal frustration, since nice guys never try to obtain what they want in life. In addition, the nice guy's desire to obtain approval from everyone (especially women), causes him to actually behave in very un-nice ways. This includes dishonesty (about themselves) and passive-aggressive behavior ("being unavailable, forgetting, being late, not following through..."). Dr. Glover's prescription involves getting nice guys to recognize that their needs and desires are important, and that to make others happy they must first learn to make themselves happy. One of the primary ways advised in the book to remedy this is for nice guys to learn to embrace and develop their masculine traits, instead of fearing and suppressing them. http://yourlisten.com/aceofplace/no-more-mr-nice-guy As a Man Thinketh by James Allen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vypNkfOhFPU Awaken the Giant within by Anthony Robbins http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nHMMhxNcghY The Victorious Attitude by Orison Swett Marden http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=23LGdeMAf9o An Iron Will by Orison Swett Marden The book of 5 rings by Miyamoto Musashi http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qO7GFIqFvo8 The Dhammapada "the sayings of the Buddha" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EtaP6DHawTQ Thats all for now. Loved the motivation and integrity reinforced in Vegan Bodybuilding and Fitness cant wait to read the new one!
  4. I've only listened to the DurianRider and Mac Danzig episodes so far.

  7. I just re watched the fight and the first 2 rounds were Mac's. 2nd could have been a draw at best but Mac really owned the last 2 mins of the round completely. No way could Gomi have won 2 rounds. He won he final round 10-9. That fucking sucks for Mac but at least he got 40k for fight of the night and Dana White said he thought Mac won. I hope there's a rematch.
  8. That was a great fight. Gomi got the split decision. I feel depressed Mac lost but that fight was inspiring. Hope they win fight of the night. Could have been worse.....could have been Rich Franklin.
  9. This is probably my dream fight. Gomi was the #1 lightweight in the world for a long time. Both coming off wins. pm me if you ever want to watch any ufc events live.
  10. Thailand would be a nice place to live. Lots of Buddhist temples there you could even consider becoming a monk. Meditating till you see your new path in life. Sensory deprivation tanks are getting popular in usa now. Good for meditating deep when you don't have the time it takes to shut out all your surroundings through practice. Joe Rogan explains the tank Have you considered doing a podcast Robert? That would be something I'd tune into. You could just set up a couple webcams and broadcast on ustream. I bet you could get on Joe Rogans podcast if you twitter him. He had vegan triathlete Rich Roll on there a couple weeks ago and Mac Danzig so I think you would be the man to go on there next. Joe's a paleo guy and he has had paleo guru's on there and i feel like Mac and Rich left a lot of things out there about vegans.
  11. hey c.o., Durian rider is a raw vegan triathlete who runs a site called 30bananas a day.He also has a youtube channel which is successful, I believe he is a youtube partner. And if you don't already you should listen to the Joe Rogan podcast on youtube for learning to be a comedian. 70% of the guests he has on there are comedians and he is too. Lot's of stories about when they started out in comedy and tips and VERY entertaining. ^playlist of the first 250 of his podcasts ^ I recommend starting out with anyone of them with duncan trussel hes been on the podcast 12 times and is everyones favorite guest even joes. ^duncan trussel podcasts^ Good luck with your comedy and I hope it turns into a successful career ^__^ ps. i know they avg 2 hours each but its worth listening.hard work and dedication is key to everything!
  12. Just for the record, they use naked men too. Why is being naked for a good cause bad at all. If it was just him giving an interview it wouldn't attract as much attention. Maybe because of that extra attention it reached more people who would have otherwise bought fur. I like how they mix the video up with actual footage of cruelty so people who just came for him get tricked into seeing what really happens. Its a good thing. No harm done. Maybe some religious people get mad because it's lewd or something.... And i think using funds for spreading the message is very important. Because it stops the problem at it's source. The people. I want to open or help fund an animal sanctuary some day but it's not solving the problem, it's just trying to clean up others messes. PETA is attacking the root of it all. Power to them.
  13. they dont have a choice.how many more neuter your animals campaigns do they need to run.The problem is the breeders and shitty owners.they give their problems to peta and then complain about how they handled it. They are the #1 animal rights group and have helped spread animal rights more than anyone. Should spend more time talking about the meat industry. Sometimes people can become to preachy.Picking at their allies.tssk tssk
  14. Yeah, well that's just, like, your opinion, man.
  15. She is so cool. The only band with a female singer i have ever liked. Dead eyes see no future ftw
  16. encruelty, fixed Iron Clad Ben, Mac isn't the type to preach, he let's others come to him if they are curious.

  18. 2 vegan athletes on Joe Rogans podcast in the last 2 days.I've never heard of rich roll but he has a pretty good story to tell. The Mac Danzig 1 is my favorite jre ever and ive followed it for a year. 2 AND A HALF HOURS OF MAC DANZIG!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFIXR-SBuoQ

  20. "3. When people ask me how I maintain my vegan diet when I travel to remote places that don’t seem exceptionally vegan-friendly such as Alabama and Mississippi, or France or Poland, I am quick to remind people that every small and large town I have ever been to anywhere in the world, has grocery stores and some have farmers markets. One doesn’t have to find a vegetarian restaurant to find vegetarian food. Grocery stores are stocked full of produce. Go eat it." This is how i would go about it.Can't be fooled by wholefoods.
  21. I'm taking berocca as my b vitamin.each tablet has 8.6 μg b12 Is this a good source/enough b12?I also take a multi vitamin, liquid iron supplement(that has added b12, calcium).
