  1. This is my absolute favorite salad and one of my favorite meals, so good! Except maybe add some carrots and cucumber for me.
  2. Dogs are just so damn awesome. I wanna dog... Whats his/her name?
  3. Absolutely. I love any outdoor activity. If I dont get to be out in nature I get depressed. I heavily dislike cities, luckily I live in a forest. I do a lot of motorized things outdoors which probably is not the most nature-minded but where I live its pretty much the norm, like atving and snowmobiling. But I love hiking, canoeing, camping, horseback riding, etc. Thats really cool that you have hiked all those mountains. I would like to do some serious mountain climbing some day.
  4. My thoughts: -The bodybuilding and fitness categories are all good, except maybe martial arts could merge with general fitness or be a sub-category of general fitness. -Recipes could merge with health and nutrition programs or better yet be a sub-category, and health and nutrition programs could go under the bodybuilding and fitness section. -Photos and videos and entertainment can go with general discussion or be one sub-category under entertainment. -Regional activities could all be merged into one category and go under the community events and gatherings section
  5. Looking awesome there! I know what it feels like to finally get back on your feet after being injured for a log time... I bet you feel like a million dollars, congrats! BTW... what on earth do you eat to get 2000 calories in one eve?
  6. I agree with the Medman, well said. I dont think such a thing exists as 100% veganism, no matter how hard you try there is always going to be something that falls under your radar. Its the ideal and concept, and your passion for it that counts, not the fact you are 99.999999% vegan.
  7. Whoa... you gotta put your foot down. You must be the nicest person ever to put up with that crap. If he was living with me he would be gone.
  8. I like hemp the best as well. I put two tablespoons in my daily smoothie.
  9. Welcome aboard! Always good to see fellow Ontarians.
  10. Well said Robert and I agree for the most part, but what if they truly believe what they are saying? I myself was once opposed to vegetarianism, simply because I was ignorant. I specifically remember saying vegetarians were stupid. If however there was someone there who disagreed with my position and went about demonstrating the fallacy of it I may have had a bitter taste in my mouth and never been open to learning more about it when the time came. Thats why I think it is best to take the high road, nod and agree to disagree. People need to find their own way, I think. It seems that fighting ignorance only serves to reinforce it. Just my .02.
  11. Hahaha, yep he sure is. Thats just awesome... animals are so great.

  13. Hmmm... one thing that always discourages me with working out is my bad ankle that cant handle squats and deadlifts. Maybe I will try low weight high rep and see what happens.
  14. Nothing yet too, but I foresee a banana/hemp seed/sunwarrior smoothie and yam fries in my future.
  15. Wow those breads look good vege... even to someone who doesn't eat bread.
  16. Oh man I wish... I weigh 135-140 and according to that would need to eat 2500 calories, but I can easily mow down 4000+ and not gain a pound.
  17. Cool recipe, but I would not recommend using pure fructose for anything, especially if you are trying to loose weight.
  18. You were born like a Ferrari... Love that, but its still an understatement.
  19. Eggs and dairy are probably worse for yeast than any beans or starches... especially dairy. Who told you you cant eat beans or starches? I think they were bullshitting you. I would just stay away from all refined sugars, coffee, vinegar, stored potatoes, wheat, high fructose fruits, and especially dairy for starters. How many calories a day do you eat? Personally I can eat 4000 a day and not gain a pound... I would have to go 6000+ to gain any serious mass. I would up your calories by a large margin and see what happens. No gluten or soy should not be a problem, no corn and peanuts are a non-issue.
