  1. Yessir! I believe that the most important things in achieving goals (besides knowing what it is that you want) are knowing how to get there and the willingness to work your tail off to do it! There are so many things in life that I want to do, so I'm going to do my best to make sure I don't waste any time! Of course, I know that things never turn out quite how we expect them to. But I know what I want, and I know how to get there, so whenever something puts me off the right track I just plan around it. I am a Yesmiss son! It's way cool that you know what you want to do. I take a whole different approach at life, i'm the colorado river before it was dammed. It's AWESOME that you are going out for what you want, and getting there! Yesmiss!

  3. Hi, my name is Patrick Smith. I'm 16 years old and I currently reside in Pascagoula, Mississippi, USA. Nice to meet you all! I've been a hardcore martial artist (Tang Soo Do) since 12 years old, and my fondness for and ambition within the arts has only grown with time. The martial art clubs in my general area are far and few between (and very sadly, getting even more so), but once I get out of college and come back, I want to help lead our local martial arts clubs to a much more fulfilling existence and a much more energetic way of working. I also plan on winning a few national titles and even some world titles eventually. I don't really think of it as 'maybe,' though. I know it will happen, it's all a matter of when and how hard I have to work to make it work (what I call "Patrick's Law"). I really want to get out and learn as many styles as I can, too. The list keeps on getting longer! I want to learn Aikido, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, some artistic Kung Fu styles, Karate, Shotokan, Judo, Krav Maga, Jeet Kune Do, anything I can! I'm going to take my ACT this October or November, so I've been studying my tail off! After getting at least a 32 on my ACT (Patrick's Law), I will enter a community college for the next three years to take basic courses that will prepare me to go to the Texas Chiropractic College (http://www.naturalhealers.com/schools/txchiro/). Then I will return here to take up practice as a sports specific chiropractic and teach as a martial arts instructor. I have spent a great amount of time researching and learning about the most up to date training methods for martial artists (and athletes in general), and I think eating properly is second only to your training methods. I'm reading through Dr. Graham's book, "The 80/10/10" Diet" and I want to get his other book "Nutrition and Athletic Performance." I'm here to continue my exploration into the raw-vegan world for athletes, please bare with me and all my questions! Thanks, Patrick
