  1. Trust me, I've thought about it. Many moons ago my dad used to get Humanure from the sewage treatment plant. He said his garden grew very very well. They don't give the shit away anymore though. My guess is all the chemicals in the food would make the poo so toxic that it's unsafe to use in the garden.
  2. I use watermelon as my base for smoothies. I do about 24oz of watermelon, one bag of Whole Foods brand frozen berry mix, 2 bananas, pineapple and half of an apple. Yum!
  3. Thanks to everyone for the great words and compliments to us! If the rest of the world was as compassionate to people and animals as all of us are, it would a much better place to live for everyone. We as a group can help change the world one person at a time. Many of you have been helping animals and people for a lot longer than me. I'm very excited to do my part now. If we can help any of you stay or go raw please don't hesitate to pm me. I would be more than happy to share my phone number if anyone has any questions or just feel like chatting about whatever.
  4. Yay Montana! I recently went raw a few months ago and the best advice I have is eat whatever you want, as much as you want, as often as you want, as long as it's raw. If you don't like broccoli don't eat it. When you eat things you don't like, you don't want to eat them, so just eat stuff you like. If all you feel like eating is watermelon all day, do it. Please pm me with any questions you may have. I do have a great raw ranch dressing that I can share. Ranch Dressing ½ cup lemon juice 1 tablespoon sea salt 1 tablespoon rosemary 1 tablespoon oregano 1 tablespoon sage 1 cup raw macadamia nuts 1/3 cup cold pressed olive oil 1-2 green onion chutes Blend ingredients in food processor. May need to add water to obtain desired consistency. (I use a little less lemon juice, sea salt and sage)
  5. Right on SeaSiren! You are going to feel great! Going raw has been the best thing I've ever done for myself. Jamye and I have been raw for over 90 days now and we feel great! I'm going to post up an update with some pics soon!
  6. Thanks for all the nice comments about my melon and my avatar guys! What a great forum we have here. The trick with the melon is to believe that you can grow a melon that big and you will grow it. Everyone said I couldn't do it and I proved them all wrong. I did use Dr. Earth #5 organic fertilizer when I planted the watermelon plant that was only a few inches tall when I bought it. I never used fertilizer after that one time and I didn't even water as often as I should have.
  7. Thanks Big! That's called a fruitarian glow! The ladies love it!
  8. Thanks guys! I've already eaten about half of it today so far. I'm pretty well known for my ability to consume mass quantities of food so I think I am going to try to finish the entire watermelon in a 24 hour period. Would that be impressive or what?
  9. I agree! This guy is hot!
  10. I grew this bad boy in my garden and he was ready to be grubbed on! Everyone was telling me I had to use a bunch of chemicals to get them big but they were wrong. It sure is tasty too. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y42/RIPMacDre/Garden052.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y42/RIPMacDre/Garden054.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y42/RIPMacDre/Garden055.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y42/RIPMacDre/Garden056.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y42/RIPMacDre/Garden057.jpg

  12. Well thanks for the heads up! We wouldn't know what to do without our favorite ninja.
  13. Go Karo! I'm with you on that one. Sanchez's last fight, that I paid for, pissed me off.
  14. Wow, Great photos! It looks like you guys are having a great time. Now I really wish I was there.
  15. Yep, sitting here, wishing I was in Portland. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y42/RIPMacDre/8.jpg

  18. Great story! Any pics? Keep up the good work!
  19. It's either pineapple, avocados, red grapes or watermelon right now for me. Whole foods had watermelon on sale when I went to the store last time so I bought 5 big ass melons. My fiance and I have been eating a 20# watermelon in about a day or so. I bought 5 pineapples too. I think I'm hungry now!
  20. Pretty cool stuff! Thanks for sharing.
  21. I'll be your friend Fruit1! I don't have any friends either. You can vote for me and I'll vote for you. Great job to everyone!!
  22. Ouch! Sounds painful. Your story reminded me about when I hurt myself at the gym a few years ago. I was very tired and should NOT have been even working out to begin with. So, I'm doing incline dumbbell press with 80# dumbbells in each hand. I had the dumbbells resting on my knees about to do another set. I kicked the left dumbbell off my knee and when I did that I used too much force. The dumbbell went behind me and tore the sh*t out of my shoulder REALLY BAD! . I was in so much pain I should have went to the doctor but instead I just keep working out. BAD IDEA! The pain only got worse over the next few days, so bad that I couldn't sleep on it at all. I would wake up wanting to scream in the middle of the night when I rolled on it. After about 6 months of pretty bad pain it finally started to feel better. It still hurts me once in a while.
