  2. yeah i've read that somewhere before pretty sure its in 5/3/1 book isnt it?? anyways i do try to push down with my legs and drive my hips into it suppose I just need to work on it. bloody well loved the vid mate! If i'm completely honest I would have given up after the failed attempt.. you're so strong man the final 200kg attempt had me on the edge of my seat! so much determination! cheers captfit I've sorted that out now Wednesday 21/11/12 bench 2 PRs!!!! empty bar (20 Kg) x 10 40 Kg x 6 60 Kg x 5 70 Kg x 5 75 Kg x 1 PR 77.5 Kg x 1 PR although this rep was so difficult, sooo much harder than 75 Kg :s this is definately my limit I'm gonna go for a light bench workout next time and work up to doing multiple reps at 75 Kg, bit disheartened that I couldn't get a double on either of the last two sets but ho hum! Press up competetion so if you didn't know, on bench day me and my buddy try and do as many press ups after benching, he went first and did a very sloppy 45... I went second and did a very very sloppy 43. bullshit!! dips x10 x10 wide grip x10 didn't squat tonight as the rack was occupied for ages now off to meet the mrs for a very well deserved cheeseless pizza

  4. thanks jim! yeah I know man it was because I had to film it myself where it was tuesday and I have noone to train with, I'll get a better vid next time (I made a youtube account especially to post this hahaha) and that sounds cool man thank you for all your help dude much appreciated :)
  5. it felt easy man yeah that's what I'm doing, when I've got the double or even triple if I feel I can I'll add another 10kg or so. we'll see how it goes but I'm proper happy with my training right now

  9. yeah! bench is next Im currently on 72.5Kg but going for a one rep max tomorrow! should be able to hit 75 at least! this time next year I'll bench 100 at least ha
  10. haha yeah it felt easy, i did high reps at about 50Kg after my set (didnt bother posting it up) and it felt like i was lifting basically nothing so i know my deadlift strength is really improving! a couple of months ago maybe even less than that I could barely pull 80 for a triple

  14. Nailed the 110Kg deadlift and got a video, I'm on my way back from gym now so I'll eat first and then upload it!

Its just ridiculous man and they were people doing personal trainer courses so I had no chance of getting in there before them, also now I'm dead lifting tomorrow I may not feel up to squatting on wednesday but I'm definitely benching wednesday so we'll see how it goes I guess, gonna try a 75Kg bench and if that goes well a 77.5Kg. Fingers crossed!

  17. too many "bros/lads" at the gym using the deadlift bar to do crossfit bullshit.. furious, waited 45 minutes and decided to just do deads tomorrow night :/

Its a shame you can't do free weight squats but smiths are certainly better than nothing liked the vid matey, although I'm no expert but i bend my knees more on deadlifts to get down a bit lower, sort of like ass to grass. You should check with the other guys on here though before taking my advice miniforklift is a personal trainer and a total beast so he'll be able to help you out better than me. You should post videos more often mate! I should have one up either tonight or tomorrow of tonights deadlifts

  20. Awww I've got 7 and 5 year old little brothers that feel like mine sometimes ahha 407lbs, that's like 200Kg?? Heavy as fuck man I'm stoked about my dl session tonight, hopefully I'll get that vid up!
  21. that duck is beautiful! at the animal unit at my college we've got loads of rescued animals including a jackdaw which you can see me with in the previous page birds are such good pets haha, what other rescue animals do you have mike? at home I've got 2 rescued dogs 4 rescued cats a bearded dragon and 2 rescued rabbits I also work at a hospital for bats full of rescued bats that cant fly because of injuries etc
