  1. Welcome! I'm new here too, but not new to vegetables! I know you said you aren't huge into shakes, but I'm a fan of Vega's products (you can find them on this site or lotsa other places) ...whether for pre or post-workout or just for a nice healthier-than-many-alternatives snack, here's a great recipe I like to think I invented; 2 heaping T Vega Almondilla Shake and Go Smoothie 1/2 banana 1 Medjool Date 4 Ice cubes Throw it all in the blender and ....yummy! Can this possibly be vegan and oh so good for you?? Enjoy your new adventure
  2. Glad to get involved here! I'm 42, vegetarian for years and Vegan for the past 2.5 years, into fitness, some bodybuilding, running... tried the whole P90X thing & ...just generally like to keep fit. Recently completed T Colin Campbell's (China Study) 'Certificate in Plant Based Nutrition' from Cornell University. &Just read Robert's Vegan Bodybuilding and really enjoyed it I'm grateful to him for sending such a great message. Have days when I (loosely) consider a fitness (bodybuilding) competition ....one day. My girlfriend will do 2 this summer and it's been really inspirational to watch her progress (she's 25 &not vegan). I've been following this website for quite some time now, it's really inspirational so thanks to everyone who makes it possible and to all who support it!
