  1. It was so awesome to see you again. I MISSED you so much! Great times with Wash and Dry hey?

Thanks for the nice compliments. I worked really hard and still pounding at it!

I also lost all the pics and videos I tried to save on my computer, I manage to save a couple. I'll post them soon.

    Love Wash BFF

FYI You always look great in off season and on season. Always Dry! You can always keep your base and still look terrific. And a monster just before competing.

  2. Aw thanks guys I really appreciate the comments Cooking is so much easier then preparing raw gourmet foods!

Mary YES!!! it's worth the read. Brendan goes over diet and a fitness schedule and new recipes.

I haven't red the whole thing, but he's a book of knowledge

  3. I made this dish for a friend of mine the other night. I was really nervous because I wanted to show him how great Vegan food can taste. It was really hard since I don't cook my food. And it's been months since I cooked for someone.

Anyways I give it a shot. Asked him what he likes. The answer I got was anything! Wow okay that narrows it down. So I asked him a lot of questions give him a list of dishes and spices, sauces etc...

I found this one in Brendan Braziers book Thrive Fitness

This dish was super easy and quick to make.

    Coconut Lime Curry Chickpea Stir-Fry

    1 tbsp of Coconut Oil

    1 tbsp of grated ginger

    3 cloves of garlic minced

    1/2 lg red onion

1 1/2 cups of chopped cauliflower

    1 1/2 cups of broccoli

    a bunch of baby spinach

1/2 tsp of turmeric, and curry

1/4 tsp cumin, and chili peppers or flakes

    1 cup of chickpeas

    1 cup of coconut milk

    1 tbsp lime juice

    1/2 cup of cilantro

For the grain I cooked Quinoa.

You can also add more of your favorite veg.

He thought this dish was excellent and he wants to try more of my cooking

  4. Thanks Mary yeah it's healing quick. Thanks for the tip too.

But for now I'm going play it safe and stick to my trainer's schedule. I DO NOT want to tweak it again. No more set backs for me.

It's really not a good idea. just want to be smart. I'm so grateful that I've gone this far. I just started doing with the bar chest press and close grips with the bar and just raise my weight on squall crushers. I won't be doing push ups. It applys too much pressure and no throwing things either lol.

    How's is your healing?

  5. Heeeeey long time no chat. How are you sweetie?

Sorry about your foot I re injured my shoulder and it's not fun to have a set back like that. It was so bad that It made it hard to change my gears in my car, and I would keep waking up in the middle of the night if I was lying on it. Some things I got out of this, It help me strengthen my side of the body. (ambidextrous now) So really now I'm even. I also was just killing my legs each time I wasn't able to do as much exercises on my upper body. So there you go. I can no longer do fly, lateral, chin ups, dips, or push ups, or anything pulling and anything open. But there's so many other workouts you can work around you know. Solutions for everything lol With a little bit of physio and a little bit of rehab.

I'm right back to were I was a few months ago. Just non of those exercises for a little bit longer. Never doing flys again though. I hated doing them anyways lol

You have to be patient it's the only way your mind and body will heal faster. And before you know it you'll be back on track and learn from you mistakes. I bet you'll be a rocket when you get better.

    Go VV Go!

  6. hey I noticed you said you work odd shifts at work. Is it because you can't make it to the gym in time ?

If I couldn't make it in time for the gym because of my weird hrs.

I use my DB weights at home. You would be amazed what you can do with them. For cardio I run outside or walk my two big dogs.

Then the times I can make it to the gym, weather first thing in the morning and late at night. My trainer will then kick my ass.

Mental Note, Remember the higher your metabolism raises the more body fat you're going to loose.

Also for diet. Make sure you're drinking a lot of water.

  7. Sorry about the shoulder injury. I really hope it gets better for you. Nothing worse then to have an injury

    to put you back.

Do you know remember what kinda exercise you did that tweaked it again?

I know from my past shoulder injury. I tweaked it again from doing kind of exercises I shouldn't of done in the first place. But after not feeling anything for over a year and half. I didn't even think of it. But now I'm really cautious.

I now have to avoid any dips, chin ups, hanging abs, front raises, any fly exercises, low weight on skull crushers, tbars, bent over rows, dead lifts, press.

I don't know if you want think about a shoulder rehab, physio or get a MRI on your shoulder. Not sure if thats what you want to look into. But it's worth getting check out in the long run. This has really help me.
