  1. If you want to change the shape of your body, you simply must lift weights. There is no way around that, short of plastic surgery.

Unless you count losing bodyfat as a way of changing the shape of course .

nah she's right. you can always lose fat here and there gain muscle in areas but the way your body is built is the way its always going to be. meet your friend, his name is "genetics", and hes a bitch

thats why i hate all those supplement companies and gyms (2 a certain extent) cause they promise so many things but unless you're hardcore or a millionaire, it wont happen. sorry boys and girls be happy with what you got, im fat and proud. its party time!!!!!!

  2. you know what? lol i was just about to make a post about advice on boxing then saw this box.... crazy eh??? anywayz ....

i have a speed bag and it is tough to get started but you shouldnt give up because after awhile its just repetition, its almost just like breathing if you're in the right zen moment ..... ok so you hit the bag once so it bounces off the back of the board then it swings forward and hits the front of the board then goes backwards to bounce off the back once again.......on the way towards you that is when you hit the bag again......people think you hit it so it bounces off the back then you hit it again but thats a no no just keep at it and you'll master it i had to take mine down we're redoing the basement now i have nothing to do....good luck

ive actually been watching the contender again so its getting me all fired up i feel like training again

  3. Hmm, where did you get this info? To me it sounds a bit strange with a worldclass track and field athlete that doesnt use weights in his training .

o im not saying he doesnt i bet he does use weights but i just mean for this ab routine.... i took these training classes for personal trainer while back and the teacher said all the guy does for abs was running and massive amounts of reps for abs.......but w/e i could be wrong but it does make sence since hes a sprinter why would he use heavy weights for his kind of sport?

I would think all core muscles are important to work because you'll need a strong core for those heavy squats and deadlifts.

true..... so get a on ball and sit on it all day instead of a chair ..... it'll work your stabilizers likes theres no tomorrow which is what you're saying is important right??

  4. House music, of course.

niiiiice a house junky in the boards

but i usually listen to jungle beats usually some deep music will get me fired up as well like some kinda soundtrack to a movie ..... bourne identity and supremacy soundtracks or something

  5. to give an example.....donovan bailey... this guy runs all day and does continues crunches with no weight at max speed and as many reps as possible .... runs > crunches > runs > crunches ... thats his routine... so you gatta think something about that plan is looking into eh?

the thing about abs and weights..... im not a big fan of that, abs dont come out by getting more muscle, they come out by losing the fat surrounding them......and the way to do that is cardio ....... if you run, you'll get cut abs its pretty much guaranteed

and the thing about obliques, in my view, you dont need to work then at all..... everytime u bend or twist or whatnot you're engaging your obliques and in my view you can get size on there if you're using weight........ i say just run, crunches, and like standing bends from side to side

heres a pic of donovan bailey

  6. i would never leave my dog EVER!!!!!!! i really dont know how so many people can do things just like that......my little guy is a grandpa now and i think call him a puppy cuz he so hyper and crazy.... i could never imagine sticking him in a shelter

im putting this story on my website

  7. I am tired of computer, cell phone, leaflet activism.

see what im planning to do is hopefully make a movie about vegan living and living cruelty free. it may be a colossal waste of time & money on my side but if i can get a couple people thinking it'll all be worth it. im gonna rent a car and drive around the country and bug people for their opinions on the matter. i've contacted some wspa people hopefully they can help me out if i have questions hopefully it'll work... but thats what i wanna do for the animals

  8. not sure why???? because if they make a movie about this the fight for stopping the seal hunt will become even more mainstream and even more people will join the fight to stop the slaughter..... if that happens peoples demand for seal products will go down and the hunt might finish which will mean less money for the government and every company that profits from the death of the seals.... they probably have lobbyiest paying off the sponsors for the movie to not even make it. it sucks but thats the kinda world we live in.

  9. Maybe we should hook up and go together to see if we can sneak in and rescue some animals - or at least get some of it on tape. i dunno. do something. i really want to try but wouldnt have the guts to do it alone.

Not that there is any shortage of documented animal torture in the ar literature.

well lets this rationally about this. sneaking in = trespassing, breaking and entering - rescue some animals = theft - tape it = dunno the term but videotaping on private property without consent can get you in shit too .... and with all that and we get caught = nice jail sentence and what good will we do from inside a jail cell??? i dont think i have the balls to do it either but i think personally we can do more good for the animals out here and spreading the word.

Just for the record, it was not the intention of this thread to land a couple group members in jail

    LOL

I always try to keep a sense of humour.

Its hard sometimes when you read of all these atrocities.

I guess it's my way of keeping sane

    have a nice evening!!!

ya i feel the same its so true. i feel guilty sometimes if i crack a laugh but if you kept ingesting all this negative info day after day, like most of us probably do, we'd eventually break down and end up a loonie bin. so tnx for the comment

next time i will try and break my record of how many people i quote in one post ...watch out people
