  1. Check this link for instructions: http://exercise.about.com/od/abs/ss/abexercises.htm I incorporate 3 sets @ 50 reps into each workout. It's crazy; I coast along from 0 - 40 reps and then 40 - 50 just lays me out flat, literally. Once you get the technique down, it becomes one continuous motion. - SAW
  2. I read recently that bicycle crunches are best for developing a six-pack. I've been doing them and they are killing me (which, of course is a good thing). Easier on your back too. Recommended.
  3. I've done a lot of reading on this. Go with electrolysis. Unlike laser, it's truly permanent and it was invented over 100 years ago, so you can feel confident that it is safe. Don't buy a machine from the drug store -- they don't work. See a professional who knows what he/she is doing. The price is comparable to laser.
  4. Hi all, I broke the rules and posted a question before introducing myself. Anyway, like many of you (I'm guessing), I discovered this site while searching for vegan fitness resources. I've been vegan for around three years and vegetarian for around nine. I've always been fit, but a little while ago I decided to start getting serious about eating a more complete diet and building muscle. I don't believe in proselytizing to non-vegans about what animals go through, but I do believe that setting an example with a healthy physique is almost the responsibility of all vegans and can be far more powerful in terms of getting others to take a closer look at the lifestyle. So I am determined to be living proof that vegans get enough protein and set an example for omnivores whose only other exposure to veganism may have been some guy at the health food store sporting Zombie Chic. I know I will definitely learn a lot from all of you and hopefully you will learn a thing or two from me. Best, SAW
  5. Hi all, I'm new to this site. I discovered Vega by browsing the topics in the forum and have been drinking it for the past week or so after my workouts. The directions suggest mixing it with water, but it tastes so good mixed with soy milk. Is there any reason why I shouldn't do this? Does water help it absorb better? Any issues with mixing proteins (soy/hemp)? Thanks, SAW
