  1. Hi Derick! First of all, welcome! And I've always wanted to visit Nova Scotia, simply because I love the sound of it! Sounds like you've already gotten some great advice, and as was already mentioned, all anyone has to do is take a gander at this website (both the forum and the main website) to know that what you've been told about not being able to gain muscle on a vegan/plant-based diet is a bunch of bull malarkey. Just know that their claims are wrong and completely unfounded, even though I know how frustrating that can be to be confronted with that all the time. Stick to your guns, Derick, confident that you're doing the best thing for your body... not to mention the planet! Welcome aboard! All the best, Karen

  5. Hi Sara! How are things going for you? I notice you haven't posted in a while and that you were sick last time you did. Hope things are great and that you're feeling back to normal. I've not been on the forum much lately either, as I've had a crazy busy life the past few weeks. But, hope to get back into my previous routine sooooooon! Before the January challenge started, I never in a million years would have said that I actually miss having a regular exercise routine... and posting in the forum, too!   12. Lisa, you're so amazing. I've been off the forum for a while, but knew I could count on you to have stayed consistent through and through! Kudos to you for backing off the daily weigh-ins. You're right, that it can be far too frustrating and obsessive. And, yes, you should get a No Meat Athlete shirt! They have both the cotton and athletic/polyester types and in different colors. They're super great people, too! I'll be back in my own place again soon and am anxious to try the HH eggless salad, based on your previous recommendation! Keep up the stellar work, my friend!

I know very well how frustrating it can be when you're presented with conflicting information, and everyone swears that their way is the right way. I guess you've just gotta maybe try different things and find out what works best for you. Remember to be patient and gentle with yourself while you figure it out! Again, welcome aboard!
