  6. Thank you Adam =D Sonntag, Februar 26: Exercise - Jogged around the block for 10-15mins, non-stop. It wasn't the best jog, but better than the last two. I tries getting more sleep but only got just enough & it wasn't great - hasn't been great in a few days actually. I am going to take tomorrow off so I can have a break. I have two days in a row off this week, starting on Dienstag, so ill totally be jogging =) Montag, Februar 27: off ...turns out, continually editing one entry per week is what some how unsubscribes me from my own thread.. ergo, I shall now post a new entry each day & just keep track of how many days in a row I have been jogging, using a "so last century ago" method: aka, the paper calendar.
  7. Haha poor guy. I don't think I'll be able to listen to that guy snicker-free anymore.

  15. http://www.veganbodybuilding.com/?page=article_growthprinciples All the articles on training certain body parts are important to me too, but this one I really enjoyed because I am sooo new to bodybuilding & learned so much about how to do it best from this article. You guys really spoil us, ya know that? Man oh man do I love these Vega products too lol =)
  16. That's awesome & Welcome! Way to go on being Vegan for 2 years & getting into shape!
  17. Ugh 100% lol. I see this ALL THE TIME at the health food store with supplements! Customer: "what does it taste like, I mean, does it taste good?", supplement clerk: "well, no not really, but it has been known to help your condition tremendously", Customer: *scrunches up their face, & puts the bottle back* "you have anything else that might help?".... WOWUH! Real food is so full of flavour one can't seem to grasp when they're used to junk. It's a darn shame.
  18. Seconded! You look amazing & there is no way you should feel fat! I hope to look like you soon =)
  19. Ugh seriously. Like wow, thanks subway, this is exactly how Vegans eat: the same foods, just without any added protein.... I can't help but believe restaurants contribute to how people perceive a Vegan diet lol. All they do is take the animal products out. How creative... No wonder people think Veganism is strict and deprived. So, kudos for *finally* making a real effort to offer a real veg option... To bad in my case it's too little too late, esp since the American subways don't have a Vegan patty... /facepalm. On the bright side, if they do it well & it catches on, they might come out with more options! =D
  20. Ah, yes, my bad. You are right about that. Certainly test tube meat is less cruel than what's going on now, I can't ignore that. However it still contributes to the idea that animals are ours to use as we please. Making it ok to eat test tube meat keeps the idea around that animals are still a backup. Just to burst some bubbles, in case test tube meat looked like a step in the right direction, I can't believe all meat eaters will jump on the bandwagon either. I can just hear it now, the whole "health" aspect of real meat vs. franken meat, how nature makes it best, how feeding an animal certain foods enriches the meat you eat... like pot heads trying to spike their marijuana plants to increase the potency of their buzz. And when we allow any kind of animal exploitation, even if "nicer", it opens the door to cruelty as people try to make it cheaper for more. At this time, I have no idea what that will look like.
  21. I have mixed feelings about getting checked by a doctor, but its still a good idea. I am not a doctor, nor am I specialist in any of the above symptoms; I'm just going to play devils advocate for perspective, but you do what you think is best, regardless of my viewpoints. Chest pain - in what context? After having an allergic reaction, working out, do you smoke, or was this all of a sudden? Shortness of breath - same as above. Asthma? Irregular heartbeat - potentially a symptom of magnesium or potassium deficiency. Fever higher than 38.3 °C (101 °F) - just for giggles, how much higher and for how long? We talking a real fever with the chills, dehydration & sick days? Some herbs are said to raise body temp, such as cayenne and ginger, if nothing else. Headache - could be brought on by many things such as dehydration, allergies, sensitivities, magnesium depletion, lack of caffeine if addicted, etc. Ever heard of a healing crisis? It's what can happen when one starts improving their health in which things seem to get worse before they get better as your body is eliminating toxins. Don't take my word for it though, look it up. Stiff neck, Severe upper back pain - uh, magnesium comes to mind again, as well as injuries or healing up from working out, but I'm sure you ruled that out. There's also poor posture & sleeping badly. Cough with phlegm - allergies? I recently started taking a high quality vitamin C & brought this on myself. It's mild so I know I'm not really sick. Look up vitamin C flush, I'm sure you'll find many great articles as well as horror stories lol. Prolonged diarrhea or vomiting - erm. Check your diet? Diarrhea could simply be not enough fiber or from a healing crisis, but vomiting ain't so good. Preggers? Dyspepsia - obviously could be diet related. Foul-smelling urine - not drinking enough water, healing crisis, or if its bright yellow then its probably just vitamin B2, found in every multi & B Complex. I won't go through it all, but I hope I made my point, that it could not be serious but one could be put on expensive blood pressure meds for nothing when diet & lifestyle are to blame. I'd check out causes for low blood pressure too. Like I said though, its still worth getting checked. Even if diet alone could fix it, it might not do it in time. I'd like very much to know what comes of your findings, and hope it turns out to be nothing much =)
