  1. Cool, no worries buddy. Keen to hear what you think of it Nice training session too, I need to try some tyre flipping one day. Looks good fun!
  2. So did I... and subconsciously that's probably why I opened this thread
  3. Sounds like a rip off TBH, I wouldn't pay that for protein. Just get hold of another brand and save yourself some money in the proces, most of the plant based protein powders I have tried have all been pretty good and of a high quality. Sunwarrior is a popular one with people on here, but there are some really good pea protein isolates out there as well. Just my 2c MF.
  4. Why did you choose/decide to resort to meds to bring up your testosterone? Just curious My 2c is if someone was going to get their bloods done there would also be other markers I would get checked too, rather than just solely focusing on what your testosterone levels are. Depending on how accommodating your GP is I would ask to get as many of these checked as posible: CRP Lipids (HDL, LDL + total) and blood glucose levels ~ will need to be taken in a fasted state ALT/AST (fatty liver will slow metabolism as well as place greater strain on all of your other major organs) T3/T4 levels Creatinine Haematocrit Ferritin B12 Vitamin D ~ not sure what it's like in the States but here in NZ doctors are unwilling to check Vit D levels unless necessary. The results of all of those will give you a great base to start from. Let us know how you get on MF.
  5. Thanks for the link FH. Yes you are right, protein isolate and concentrate are not the same.
  6. Sounds like the perfect life, I worked on a cruise liner for 5 years and met my wife on there. I miss the sea terribly !! Welcome to the forum and it's great to have you on here, I m sure you will settle in and feel at home very quickly. Love your username to! MF.
  7. Great work, you have turned your life around by the looks of it. What a transformation! Welcome to the forum anyway, it's great to have you here. I look forward to seeing you around posting more MF.
  8. How much agave would you add per litre? I have asked some of the people that buy it from us how they use it ~ most tell me they use it in their coffee instead of sugar and the majority of the others use it for baking ?!

  11. I need to try agave. We have raw blue agave syrup in my shop and I have never tried it even though I sell a bottle every day or two !!
  12. Well done B&B, solid gains. Keep up the good work in the gym, and you still have the baddest and scariest avatar on the forum as of right now! MF.
  13. http://www.veganbodybuilding.com/forum/download/file.php?id=3472 Just bought a pair of Brooks 'Ghost' shoes, never used the brand before but love the ethics they have as a company
  14. Awesome salad, made heaps so it's also my lunch today. Treated myself to a new pair of running shoes as I think my current ones have close to 800km in them. I really like the ethics of Brooks as a company and I get the impression they are consciously trying to reduce their carbon footprint; plus if they're good enough for Chrissie Wellington they're sure going to be good enough for me http://www.veganbodybuilding.com/forum/download/file.php?id=3472

  16. All the best for it Kora, have you ran that one before Good luck to you Robert! I'm training for a fast full marathon towards the end of the year so I'm planning to run the Sri Chinmoy half in September. I last ran it in 2010 and managed 1hr36, so this year I'm hoping to get close to the 1hr30 mark. It's held in Hagley Park, a 2.5km mostly flat loop on what is regarded as a nice fast course. Does tend to be a little cold usually at that time of the year though.
  17. Nice work getting all of that fruit into you, sounds tough but kinda cool at the same time. What does TRX stand for?
  18. That meal looks delicious! You usually use Sunwarrior as your protein powder source?
  19. Just preparing my lunch before I head into work, just picked up a few fruits, veges etc so I can make up a nice big colourful salad. http://www.veganbodybuilding.com/forum/download/file.php?id=3471
  20. I do like my morning fasted runs. I feel lighter and full of energy (I make sure I have eaten well the previous evening) and I find I'm fine in a fasted state for any distance up until around the 10km mark. Anything longer than that and I'd probably eat something as I'd hate to run out of energy and have to walk back home lol.
  21. Beautiful shot from the plane. On top of the world!
  22. Sure buddy, here you go: Serves: 4 Preparation: 20 Cooking: 20 INGREDIENTS 250g tofu (frozen and then defrosted, to give it a 'mince' texture) 2 onions, chopped 2 cloves garlic, chopped Oil for frying 1 can tomatoes 1/2 cup water 2 tsp arrowroot 50mls tamari Pasta for 4 people (use quinoa spaghetti if you can get hold of it) Grated nuts (this is the parmesan cheese) Pepper to flavour COOKING Fry onions and garlic in pre-heated oil for 5 mins. While onions and garlic are cooking, cook pasta in a separate pot. Squeeze the tofu so it is not too moist and add into pan with tomatoes and arrowroot mixed with the water. Continue to cook and continue stirring until thickened. Pour over cooked pasta and eat ~ delicious and filling MF.
