" title="Applause" /> What you did was great and i think someone has to be mentally strong to do such a thing As for your blood test i wouldn't worry about cholesterol levels,as the range that doctors have is based on statistics from regular meat eaters....How much is your total cholesterol? As for the uric acid i would reduce the protein intake a little as high uric acid is a sign that not all this protein is being digested..

  10. If i put let's say 20g spirulina in my fruit smoothie do you think i will have digesting problems? How much time after drinking the spirulina - water mix ,do you eat your next meal ? Do you take it split through the day or once?
  11. Also it seems that spirulina really works as a source of protein..... I am gonna buy some powder to try although its very expensive...
  12. Here in Greece 100 degrees is the lowest we have during summer.... We had up to 117 last year...
  13. I have not been sick for 2 years now,after becoming vegan... But except from being vegan i also take 2-5g vitamin c daily which helps a lot.. Also when i am not very well i take a product which is grapefruit seed exract which is said to have antibiotic and antiinflamantory action... Finally its important to sleep a lot... I sleep at least 9 hours a day... There is a theory that all illnesses are the result of toxification and bad nutrition... And illness itself is a body's method of detoxification,thats why we don't want to eat anything,thats why we have diarrheas,thats why we have mucus,thats why we want to sleep...
  14. You look great...Don't worry about anything... I would give anything to eat 1200 cals and not lose weight... With having to eat that little you can have a great life full of activities without having to worry about eating all the time... Some people have to eat 2500-3000cals just to maintain their weight..Thats very frustrating...
  15. Spirulina has 30mg iron per 100g.. So if you take 230g algae you take about 65mg iron just from it... And if you get 20mg more from you other foods you have 85mg iron... Isn't that too much?We need 10-30mg.... Also you get too much copper too....
  16. I took some pics but were not good at all so i will not participate.. But i will surely post in the back contest.... A good idea would be to have these contests every year,so that is a motivation to work during summer for next season...

  19. Its true that excercise and much eating can decrease lifespan... However the ideal life for a long lifespan would be sth like a monks life... Zero stress,little excersice and little eating.... However i don't think it worths to live even 200 years in a life like that... The best for myself is to live 80-100 years away from diseases,fit,and energetic and of course vegan ...

  21. Its just a game..Nothing more...And life is not about winning others...Its about improving yourself and entering these contests can give you motivation to train harder... Just my opinion,and don't worry, you have great body!
  22. Today i tried to reach the pump in the triceps... I left them at the end of my workout and started doing triceps extensions... I started with 3set of 12 with 10kgs... Then i added 4 kgs and i did 3 more sets of 8(cause i couldn't do any more with that weight and the form was not very good)... No serious pump yet... Then i decided to go back to 10kg and try sets of 12 as many as i could.. I did 5 of them...After the 3rd i was pumped enough.. Trying to do a sixth one i stopped in the seventh repetition cause i couldn't lift anymore...At this time my triceps were pumped enough more than ever but not as much as i would like... And i think i could do some more sets... Totally i did 12 sets...Aren't these so many?Will this type of trainning promote hypertrophy?Cause books say that too many sets will not help hypertrophy..
