When you go to work tomorrow try to get a little of the pee mist soap into his lunch. It'll give him a chance to spend a lot more time in the bathroom reading other peope's labels.

Questions about Losing Weight
tommybricks replied to RoyCarlson's topic in Health & Nutrition Programs
The Hackers Diet is a pretty cool book. The main thing is John Walker gives formulas for calculating calorie intake and weight loss/gain trends based on daily weigh-ins. You can even keep track of your weight on his website, so you don't have to do anything to calculate your moving average, just type in your weight everyday. Calories in and calories out, look at longer term trends to fluctuations caused by water weight. (I first read the book only because he wrote AutoCAD and I work in a machine shop, so I felt like I owed it to him to read his book.) -
I'm pretty sure these jokes started on something awful. Can anyone back that up?

I'd love to see a pic. My girlfriend has tried a few times to make decent burgers. She wants to try these tomorrow.

real basic recipe my girl makes on the regular: 1. Use canned lentils they usually come out better. I like Goya. 2. Simmer onion and garlic in olive oil in a pot. 3. Chop celery. 4. Put celery in pot along with cans of lentils. 5. Let cook for awhile. Be sure to stir so they don't burn to the bottom, but a little burnt stuff on the bottom tastes awesome. When the lentils split they are done, but if you cook it longer the soup gets thicker. Tastes best the next day. Enjoy!

They are in your home. You do not deserve to be anyone's doormat. Live and eat how you normally would and let them join you. Don't cater to to disrespectful guests. Trust me, you might think your being a bitch, but if you can't love yourself you surely can't love your family, so have some regard for your own wellbeing. Also, you can't control what other people do or think or believe, so keep the focus on yourself and let them be where they are,

I live near a Puerto Rican grocery store. They sell packs of 4-5 ripe bananas for about 50 cents. Add in some lentils, garlic, onions, celery, romaine lettuce, and frozen berries for cheap eating all day.

Thanks for teh recipe. I'll let you know how it goes.

I am obsessed with my cast iron cookware. I like stainless steel too. I refuse to cook with teflon or aluminum.

Could you share the recipe? My girlfriend and I recently started venturing into the world of baking. Yesterday was peanut butter cookies and chocolate chip cookies. We'd love a good brownie recipe.

***You Are a Smart American*** You know a lot about US history, and you're opinions are probably well informed. Congratulations on bucking stereotypes. Now go show some foreigners how smart Americans can be.
