  1. Sounds nice, but I'm sure as hell not. Maybe for a long term relationship though.
  2. I'm gonna try my best not to get bit by any venomous snakes.
  3. There are other ways to let KFC know how unhappy we are ...
  4. I've been trying to do a few chinups when ever I think of it at work. Around the house the best I can do is fingertip chinups in the doorway, which right now I find pretty difficult. The whole GTG idea seems to make sense though. For the next week I'll practice and report back with results.
  5. Well, there was zuchinni, raisins, and carrots, that i know for sure ... hold on I'm calling my mom ... she says she got the recipe through google ... something about potato starch ... Well, in any case, she's gonna make some more, maybe I can share some if I don't eat it all befoe I get it home.
  6. Last night I fed raw kale in a salad to three SAD friends. No one even noticed the kale, they just ate it and everyone enjoyed.
  7. Swing low sweet chariot -- stop -- and let me ride ... I think I see the mothership comin! Put a glide in your stride and a dip in your hip, step on board the mothership. Welcome!
  8. What up Matdai? Welcome. What kind of work do you do?
  9. I feel for ya. Some people are just fuctioning on a cruder level of awareness. Don't hate em, have some compassion for their ignorance.
  10. wrestling is the greatest sport, there is nothing like it. i wouldn't start in college, but its gonna be tough starting any sport at the college level. most wrestlers start around 6 and only the best make it past their early twenties.
  11. I love Southpark. Yeah, they take shots at everybody, but they do it for a reason. I've watched episodes that I found personally offensive, but when you get over that fact and just see it as an entertaining cartoon, you might find that the writing is freaking genius. I think the Southpark guys just want people to lighten up and not be so judgemental of people who don't agree with them. Also, you have to admit, they don't target any issue or group, EVERYONE is fair game.
  12. My mom's been making me vegan food for the past few months. She just brought over some zucchini bread. I don't have the recipe, but its freaking delicious!
  13. Everything about the tyre flipping olympics is incredible.
  14. COMBAT: I understand that the Gracie family have their own ideas on good diet? CARLEY GRACIE: That's right. My father made a study of the chemical combinations of foods and developed a diet to promote health, athletic ability, and longevity; the entire Gracie family was trained in his diet and we lived that way. Fruits are a large part of the diet but the key is knowing which foods combine well and which foods don't go together. There are other aspects of the diet, as well. For example, we believe that radishes strengthen joints but carbonated drinks make them weak, so we try to avoid industrialized drinks in favour of water and plain fruit drinks. People who have heard about the Gracie diet often wonder if we eat meat, and the answer is Yes. Meats are included in the Gracie diet, but many of us are primarily fruit eaters. I tend to eat a lot of fruit -- dates, for example, cereals, bananas, oranges. I didn't eat meat for about 30 years, but a few years ago I added meat back into my diet because I thought I could do with the extra protein. Now I find I often feel tired after eating meat, so I am planning to stop eating meat. When I was in Brazil about three weeks ago I could only get fruits from the local market, and so that is mostly what I ate during that time. In the beginning, my body was craving heavier foods -- like meat or spaghetti -- but then my metabolism adapted, and I feel younger and stronger when I eat mostly fruits. ----------------------------------------------- Apparantly Carley Gracie is the best fighter in the family, and the only one that is completely undefeated, even within family matches. He didn't eat meat for 30 years and he likes fruits.
  15. people won't do that, and hunters, in my experience, are by and large scum bags. i lived in the mountains of WV for several years, and the noble hunters frequently poached on our property - until we started shooting back and word got around. also we'd often find dead does and bucks on the crest of the hill, where hunters on the highway saw them and just figured it'd be fun to kill them. we also twice had bucks taking refuge on our land with arrows embedded in them from asshats who shot them, didn't kill them, and were too lazy to stalk them. hunting for meat is wrong. raising livestock for meat is equally wrong. That's ing and sad. I figure given the choice to not kill animals for food I should jump at the opportunity, but if things were different and I didn't have the choice, I'd rather be directly responsible for killing my food than pass the job onto someone else.
  16. When I was a kid I always wanted to go hunting. I fished everyday during the summer. I still feel like it would be way better for people to go out and hunt for their meat if they choose to eat it. Personally, I'd rather look around for some blackberries, but if I had to eat meat I would find and kill the animal myself. Even better if I could chase down and catch a rabbit and kill it with my teeth, my parent's dogs can do that -- thus they eat meat and I don't.
  17. yeah its sickeningly hot here. i still go running in the afternoon, after carrying bricks all day. not sure if thats healthy ...
  18. I've always been fascinated when I hear about how effective Tai Chi is in combat, and then I see elderly people moving really slow. I'd love to see a Tai Chi adept fighting in a Mortal Kombat tourney getting K.O.'s through superior Chi flow. Not that I'm convinced that would happen - they'd probably get destroyed, but I picture dudes shooting balls of energy out there hands, and that is pretty gnarly.
  19. Fogatron - word. The zero gravity mangoes are outta sight. Fogatron said there ain't no debate, he's takin his title as the human TR-808.
