fruit and protein is great, nothing tastes and makes you feel as good as fruit in my opinion! you going back to bodyweight stuff mate or are going to get back on the deads and so on??? -

i think decline can be useful, but i think people go on far too much of an angle sometimes.......all my benching is done very slightly decline as little as my head 2-3 inches lower than my ass, this little bit of decline feels alot nicer on my shoulders than normal flat press. just give things a go and see how they work for you......just do it slowly and build up the poundage gradually incase you get injured doing something your body isnt used to . what are your goals with the training program?

cool vid pal, looks like you have a good gym! loving the metal playing too haha.........whats the band playing when your doing the heavy set?

Ross my friend hows things? looked like you had a nice holiday! cheers mate im getting there slowly its hard work training around some back problems but i seem have found the exercises that dont mess with it so ill just stick to them for a while! as for the bloating i know what you mean i get that sometimes, i tend to go by how i feel and adjust my food as i go along......eg..if i go out for a veggie chinese i usually feel a bit bloated and fat the next day so i just go low carb and high protein till i feel better again. Im all for high carb diets but when bulking its really easy to over doit and feel like a whale, so i usually eat a load of carbs for my first 2 meals then calm down a little for the rest of the day and keep it high protein lower carb, but due to the morning carbs still have all the energy and less cravings than if you eliminate them altogether. i think salt has a alot to do with this also, it can make you look and feel bloated. I used to bulk by just eating all and everything in sight but im a bit smarter about it now and have learned how to read my body a little better. i hope this had made some sense to you mate and doesnt just look like a paragraph of nonsense -

Thoughts on Vega sport pre workout?
mrbear666 replied to s0ulshine's topic in Bodybuilding/Strength Training
ah i see, sorry..............i must admit i have had a few different types of pre workouts in the past some good some bad......if you get one that works with you then it can really give a feeling of well being and a good pump due to the arginine and other amino acids that most of them contain -
Thoughts on Vega sport pre workout?

cant go wrong with a big mug of strong black coffee in my opinion much cheaper too -
So did I... and subconsciously that's probably why I opened this thread subconciously? hmmm not sure i beleive you MF

ive had my protein peanut butters too, really good stuff! i put mine in a blender with my proteins soy isolate no choice for it but to mix then i also use reflex vegan protein smooth fruits flavour which is fairly cheap, 2.1kg for 30 quid delivered, the scoops are quite small though so it seems to last, its a pea protein but one of the better tasting ones in my opinion

what a transformation, congratulations and welcome!

My body transformation for 4 months
mrbear666 replied to KenJunior's topic in Online Training Journals & Blogs
alright mate not sure if your allowed to discuss steroids on here, you should really know what your doing with the ancillary drugs before you go on cycle then you can solve potential side effects quickly. you will need nolva and clomid for your pct or you will lose all of your gains. -

i think if you are even slightly concerned about diet and well being, whether vegan or not you always end up having to prepare food in advance as its virtually impossible to get good nutritious food that you havent prepared yourself. being vegan just takes the step a little further again. there are many kinds of easy vegan food/protein bars that you can buy and keep a couple with you at all times or good old fashioned fruit never fails. as for the toilet thing, i dont have that problem maybe if your new to being vegan it will just take a little time for your body to adjust. good luck

Rob's High Intensity Training Log
mrbear666 replied to HIT Rob's topic in Online Training Journals & Blogs
interesting stuff as usual Rob, does that mean static holds would be one of the most blood pressure increasing ways to train? i know i have had headaches from straining super hard in the past so i assumed it was the huge rise in blood pressure. maybe you just needed a new kind of stimulus rather than just harder contractions if you have been doing HIT for a good while!? ill go read that article now, yeh all good here thanks pal -
good job with the weight loss John, bet you look and feel like a new person

no worries about the questions, thats what this place is for! im no means an expert but happy to help if i can. i would do legs abs and a bit of cardio, you could do whatever you fancy as far as the chest shoulders and tris are concerned. 3 sets chest, 2 tris, 2 shoulders........or 3 sets on each its upto you, there is no hard and fast rules, just enjoy it and find what works for you, i barely train my shoulders as i find they grow from the other things like bench press and so on. dont stress too much about a set here, a set there and so on, some days you may feel like doing 5 sets somedays maybe skip an exercise and do something else. hope i have been some help and not just confused you

training is a bit all over the place at the moment still consistent but no set program as i have been so busy, sometimes at home sometimes in the gym but everything is getting trained. got home from work and my dad has bought me 5kg soy powder, happy days upped my protein alot in the last 2 weeks, getting around 300 grams a day at the moment i think. i think its making a difference to my size already, kinda expensive though going to try and keep it high as i can now hope everyone is well. -
good luck with your goals, think i just said welcome in your journal, but nevermind........you sound determined so pretty sure you will make good progress regardless of what gets in the way
