turning mrbear into a mountain!
mrbear666 replied to mrbear666's topic in Online Training Journals & Blogs
not eating crap is so goddamn hard! thats why ive given in and gone on a permanent bulk hahaha i did some good lifts in my early 20's before i had any problems, doubt ill ever match them again........gotta plod on though! ceilings solid, as long as i dont drop anything from too high i dont reckon ill go through it, my ma wouldnt be impressed if i did ive been watching loads of benedikt magnusson videos have you seen how strong this guy is? he does some mental deadlifts with no straps etc.....worth a look -

thanks Rob, now i have found exercises i can do that dont aggravate any injuries i have i just stick to them but change the intensity techniques that we always discuss and so on. i find its possible to keep gaining with the same exercise as long as you change the intensity techniques, weight, rep schemes, rest between sets and stuff. some times ill move my feet on the leg press etc, or change my grip slightly doing bench press but nothing major. just managed 100kg bench tonight for 10 reps too.......i think i could have got maybe one or two moren if i had a spotter but im in my bedroom and dont want to get stuck as no one will hear my screams with death metal blairing haha hope all is good with you pal -

looking strong as f**k mate! -
hey buddy, try ignoring the scales for a few weeks and just use the mirror, the scales can literally drive you mental if your not careful, and as you said the body fluctuates alot depending on what youve eaten, what time of the day you weigh, how much exercise etc.....mirror is far more accurate in my opinion

alrite Ross, ive always had a problem with zoos, even before i was a vegan.......i think its horrible and a shame to bring animals in from the wild into small enclosures just for the public to come and gawp at. I know some of the places they are kept are alot bigger than they used to be but they still arent wild, penguins brought from the arctic and put in a little pen in britain with a swimming tank etc.......its totally wrong. Some of the animals have huge territories and habitats which cannot be replicated no matter what in a zoo........it can be argued that we are keeping some of the endangered species safe by putting them in a zoo, but i dont really see that as fair either. Why should we condemn an animal to be locked up just because it is the last, im sure the creature wouldnt agree that its a good idea. People say, "yeh but youve got a dog and thats and animal being kept out of the natural world" but its different as i havent gone out into the wild to catch my dog just to keep it........its a difficult one, but thats just my opinion on the subject bro, i couldnt work in one, but we all have different thoughts on things and whos to say im right your wrong or vice versa........id be interested to hear others thoughts also

hey buddy, good to see someone giving HIT a go! awesome way to train when done right.......a good gauge of if you doing it right is if you feel like or want to do another set then the first one wasnt intense enough i find when i get it just right i feel so sick, my muscles are almost numb feeling and my brain wont function properly for a few minutes......sounds really bad but it works. alot the of HIT way of training is in the mind, it can be quite difficult to actually push yourself that far if your not used to it but when you do learn how its done right you realise how much harder you can push yourself than you have before. hopefully the HIT man Rob will chime in now he has a much better way of putting things than me good luck if you continue with it oh yeah, i watched someone interviewing dorian yates on youtube, they were saying that you need to do more than one set, his responsewas........"come and train with me, and i can gaurantee you will not want to do another set"
