  1. My advice is to keep your diet where it is. Just keep eating the same things you are eating, not more and not less. Then add some more exercise into the mix, fat burning exercises. Something that works great is to run-walk-run-walk. That can be done at the endo of your training sessions, something like 15 minutes a day. By the way, 50g fats, 150g protein and 250g carbs are god macros.
  2. This helped me a lot with my diet: http://www.veganbodybuilding.com/?page=article_marcella_003 =)
  3. Proof that your bulking is making you fat!
  4. try this for lunch = baked sweet potatoes + stir fried tofu with garlic, ginger and shoyo =)
  5. We had almost the same lunch, except for the fact that my tofu wasn't smoked, was stir fried (no oil added). The images are not embarassing at all, looking good for a start point I'm looking forward to see your progress =D
  6. Just start a topic here: viewforum.php?f=24
  7. fat ASAP = muscles gone. Aim for a subtle calorie deficit and try doing some HIIT. Don`t try to lose the fat fast or you will end up loosing your gains.
  8. No effects on testosterone levels. If you consume a lot of tofu it could actually increase your testosterone levels due to the good fat contained in it. Me, I consumed soy for years (in Brazil it was the cheapest protein source $/kg for years) and did a testosterone blood test a couple of months ago, I have a pretty high testosterone level, I compared to a meat eater of the same age, I had 3 times more testosterone than him (of course you have to consider genetics).
  9. You can easily ignore all nutrition advide this trainer is giving to you both. Tofu is great for muscle growth and so is vegetable protein, no difference from animal protein. The best advice I can give you is to read the main site, there you will find some guides on what Derek Tresize eats and recomends. If you don`t know Derek is the vegan guy from this pic: http://therawlivestyle.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/article_NANBF_7.jpg Some of the best articles to start with would be: http://www.veganbodybuilding.com/?page=article_marcella_003 http://www.veganbodybuilding.com/?page=article_derek_gainer_shake http://www.veganbodybuilding.com/?page=article_shorkey_top_ten_foods If I am not mistaken you can also get some paid online personal training at: http://www.veganproteins.com/personal-training/ or http://www.veganmuscleandfitness.com/client-portal/ If you can afford it =) Good Luck and don`t be afraid to go vegan, you will still have massive gains in the gym!
  10. But I think you`ve noticed that the second advice is a consensus here:
  11. CUTTIN DOES SUCK !!! 3 months in, at 69.5kg right now and no ABS ! So, time for new year resolutions: - Abs - 7.6kg lean muscle mass - Packing my lunch - Walking my dog EARLY in the morning - Sleeping early, Waking up Early - 100kg Deadlift for reps. (220lbs) - Learn how to Squat without screwing up my knee
  12. That`s the spirit! No retreat, no surrender! http://userserve-ak.last.fm/serve/_/77391242/No+Retreat+No+Surrender++Original+Motion+Picture+S.jpg
  13. Don't try to help him by telling him what to do, even if you are right. Search for a good professional, probably he won't ignore professional advice, even if he tells him the exactly same thing you've been trying to tell. Good Luck
  14. Your partner doesn`t need you. He needs professional help, a good nutrition professional or a personal trainer. If he didn`t listen to you so far, he won`t start listening now. That`s just my 2 cents =)
  15. No bulk until 10% !! I want to see those abs I`ve been building since january! =) But it is indeed tempting, I miss my morning peanut butter ;~~
