  1. My advice is to keep your diet where it is.

Just keep eating the same things you are eating, not more and not less.

Then add some more exercise into the mix, fat burning exercises.

Something that works great is to run-walk-run-walk.

That can be done at the endo of your training sessions, something like 15 minutes a day.

By the way, 50g fats, 150g protein and 250g carbs are god macros.

  2. No effects on testosterone levels. If you consume a lot of tofu it could actually increase your testosterone levels due to the good fat contained in it.

Me, I consumed soy for years (in Brazil it was the cheapest protein source $/kg for years) and did a testosterone blood test a couple of months ago, I have a pretty high testosterone level, I compared to a meat eater of the same age, I had 3 times more testosterone than him (of course you have to consider genetics).

  3. You can easily ignore all nutrition advide this trainer is giving to you both.

Tofu is great for muscle growth and so is vegetable protein, no difference from animal protein.

The best advice I can give you is to read the main site, there you will find some guides on what Derek Tresize eats and recomends.

If you don`t know Derek is the vegan guy from this pic:

Some of the best articles to start with would be:

    http://www.veganbodybuilding.com/?page=article_marcella_003

    http://www.veganbodybuilding.com/?page=article_derek_gainer_shake

    http://www.veganbodybuilding.com/?page=article_shorkey_top_ten_foods

If I am not mistaken you can also get some paid online personal training at: http://www.veganproteins.com/personal-training/ or http://www.veganmuscleandfitness.com/client-portal/

If you can afford it =)

Good Luck and don`t be afraid to go vegan, you will still have massive gains in the gym!

  4. Yea I'm not going to throw away a three plus year relationship because I can't get some things through his head

But I think you`ve noticed that the second advice is a consensus here:

maybe a gift certificate for a session with a trainer or nutritionist might work?
