This old chap just managed to come across a load of exotic, but sadly dead, butterflies? They were at some point captured and killed for this man's collection. His collection then ends up in the exhibition. I can't see what point I'm missing.......... Can we get of this subject, Please? Maybe this thread can get deleted so all the PERFECT people can relax and give us fellow vegans a brake and save it for the outside world. Robert is trying to do a good thing here..and he is, but some of you are making it very hard for him. R E L A X - Whatever point you are trying to make is getting you nowhere in this forum. I think you are the one that needs to relax, so try it sometime. The point I was making is not whether Bigbwii was right or wrong going to this exhibition, not whether he did or did not know that dead butterflies would be on display. I will call him up when he says that no butterflies were killed for that exhibition when obviously they were. No, not specifically so. The fact remains - dispute it all you want - these butterflies were killed for display purposes. These butterflies eventually find their way to an exhibition. Conclusion = these butterflies were killed for this exhibition. Yeah...You right..your 100% right. Have a great day ole chap!

Your Dr. is a piece of POOP! they know nothing about diet and nutrition..absolutely nothing! If you don't wish to eat dairy,then don't! A dentist!! Who the heck is he to suggest nutritional advice. I didn't read all of the posts, but hopefully you have been convinced to go back to being vegan. trust me, you will get you calcium from a plant based diet. Good Luck!

yes..in respect to Robert and the other great people on here who ask me to hang out I believe it is the right thing to do. I will try to post often, but like robert and a few of you other professionals life is sooo busy......but a great busy at that!

I do agree that there are people born with great calves and people born with virtually no calves. I belong to the latter category. I also believe that it is quite challenging to get calves to grow in size -- they seem to be extraordinarily stubborn compared to other muscles -- but anecdotal evidence underlines that they are not incapable of hypertrophy. After being in the industry for so long I am ask that question: 'Why are calves so hard grow?" I have never done a full scale research on this but my opinion is that yes it is genetics, but also it is a muslce that never rests. We all know how important it is to rest your muscles in order for them to grow and grow big. funny also..I have friends that ask for half of my calves..lol

It sounds like you have some pent up anger festering inside of you toward "advocates", and you were dying to unleash on somebody. My advice: if your gym doesnt have punching bags, get one, because this forum will NOT be your personal punching bag. If you are itching, in other words, to blow up and unleash some venom, do it elsewhere. You have a total of, like, 10 posts on this forum and yet you feel it is appropriate for you to launch such a scathing attack yelling at people with your use of capital letters? Obviously, if somebody posts pictures, on a vegan forum, of a butterfly exhibit, then the question may arise whether those butterflies are real or not, and if real, whether they were murdered for the purpose of an exhibition. This is not an unfair or inappropriate inquiry. CollegeB's post did serve to educate some people on this thread, and if you will notice, that "some people" includes myself and Big. And, after we were all educated by College B, people rightly expressed their concerns and opinions. Something that every board member has the right to do, so long as there is no malice, etc. Considering the nature of this forum, and the fact that we are all in the company of many passionate people who detest animal exploitation, discussions like these arent outrageous or inappropriate, and anything that is publicly posted is fair game and open to challenge, inquiry, criticism, praise, etc. Bahh!!!!!!!!! What an assinine sentiment, not to mention one that lacks empathy. If the animal protection movement was to wait for people " to ask" before it tried raising awareness and educating, there would be a lot less vegans in the world, and a lot more animal cruelty and exploitation. I wonder if you would still want activists to "wait for people to ask" if you were the one being stolen from the wild and killed for an exhibit, anally electrocuted for your fur or delimbed while fully conscious. Ready for this CRAZY workout? I HAVE NEVER, EVER, EVER DONE CALVES!!!!!!!! The guys at the gym flip out when I tell them that! Here is a funny..I train the Philadelphia Force professional fast Pitch softball team and the first time we met ALL teh girls, within 2 minutes were saying, 'Holy cow! Look at your calves!', 'Damn those are awesome!' and embarrising things like that. They are actually cut and very define. The pic looks more like bulky. I say all of this but with much embarresment. trust me no ego here. These are just the things I am told and hear constantly.

noticed youre from allentown. didnt know there was other vegan lifters near where I used to live. I'm from the Poconos Lived in the area all my life..Catasauqua actually We were just in White Haven this weekend and stayed at the Inn at Hickory Run. What an awesome place! THe guy made us an unreal vegan breakfast each morning!
