  1. Awesome stuff, man! Looking great! Also, great to have more people from Europe here. Welcome!
  2. Haha But hey... you still have to work hard to reach the same factor as Rühl...
  3. The title of the article is bad, otherwise I would not count it as "anti-veg". It clearly states that vegetarianism isn't the problem, it is one of the symptoms for such people. Most veggies do not have such issues.
  4. BLOODY HELL! I'm stunned! Absolutely fantastic shape! Moar pics plz!!! Especially pecs and triceps are HUGE!
  5. Tue 31st March - Bench press, dumbbells: 10 + 10 @ 28kg per arm - Incline bench press, dumbbells: 8 + 6 @ 28kg per arm About 3-4 hours dancing. Also, I've been eating loads of gemma. It's made from yellow peas and tastes awful. I didn't have to pay much for it since I bought it from my friend who thought it was so bad he couldn't eat it.
  6. That is SOOO bullshit if someone blaims parents killing a baby fed nothing but breast milk, veggies, nuts and fruits. A 10 month old can live with breast milk only. It contains everything a baby under 1 year needs. If the baby dies because of starvation, it has nothing to do with veganism. Also, if a baby is not gaining weight, it should be taken to hospital immediately, instead of waiting for the kid to starve to death. I bet a kid looks quite sick WELL before it dies of starvation. I just hate those anti-vegan reporters. FFS!
  7. L&G, I'm eating them right now... and eariler today. And for dinner and STILL I have loads and loads of them. The sprouter can sprout like 5-10 lbs a week. Luckily I don't have to eat all myself. I feel so much better now that I eat sprouts on a regular basis. They're ecological, full of vitamins, easy to digest and taste sooo good (especially black eyed pea sprouts)! Fri 27th March 3h dancing Rest and serious eating for the whole weekend! Mon 30th March - Deep squat, barbell: 3 x 10 @ 60kg (I fear my hamstring might get worse so I took with light weights) - Supersets, barbell: 10 bicep curls + 10 shoulder press behind neck @ 33kg -> 3 rounds 2h 15min bboying
  8. Pros: - AWESOME general shape - Biceps - Triceps - Shoulders (WHOA ) - Pecs - VEINS!!! Cons: - One can never be too big - Lats are good but lacking size compared to shoulders (probably just posing issue)
  9. Wed 25th March D A N C I N G 8-12am dancing (4h) 2-4pm dancing (2h) 5.45-19.30pm bboying (1h 45mins) Also, pain in right hamstring. Gotta take it easy for a few days. Thu 26th March 2h dancing I was all worn out from yesterday so I just took some bicep curls: - Deadlift, curl bar: 10 @ 84 (mainly for warm up). - Bicep curls, dumbbells: 5 @ 24kg, then 5 + 5 @ 22kg (isolated, 1 arm at a time) (24kg = 53 lbs)
  10. L&G, I totally remember the video! Still, there's no reason not to link it again! Now it's starting to feel like I actually am either dancing or working out all the time! Fri 20th March 3h dancing During the weekend I carried one 110 lbs television here and there... but otherwise I just rested (and drove 300 miles) Mon 23th March 2h dancing, 1h 15mins bboying, 1h step dance (FUN!) Tue 24th March - Bench press: warm up @ 50kg with barbell, then 10 + 10 @ 28kg dumbbells (62 lbs) - Incline bench press, dumbbells: 10 + 12 @ 24kg - Dips: 22 + 21 @ bw - Bent-over rows, curl bar: 8 + 8 + 10 @ 84.4kg (186 lbs) Also 4h dancing Tomorrow 8 HOURS DANCING!
  11. Check this out: http://www.nutritiondata.com/facts/legumes-and-legume-products/4426/2 Also, if you search for kidney beans you'll have loads of results to choose from. Also keep in mind that a can of kidney beans has lots of water and it should not be counted to the weight of the beans.
  12. Wed 11th March 2h dancing 1h45mins bboying Thu 12th March 2h dancing Sat 14th March - Lateral raises, dumbbells: 4 x 12 @ 14kg - Hammer curls, dumbbells: 2 x 12 @ 14kg (I felt sick and just took something quick) Sun 15th March 3h dancing Mon 16th March 3h dancing 2h15min bboying 2h dancing Tue 17th March - Bench press: 10 + 10 @ 68 - Incline bench press: 10 @ 58 (Just a quickie) Dancing 4h Wed 18th March 4h dancing 1h 45mins bboying Thu 19th March - Bench press, barbell: 12 + 15 @ 68kg - Incline bench press, barbell: 5 @ 68kg, 13 @ 58,5kg - Dips: 18 + 20 @ bw - Lateral raises, dumbbells: 3 x 10 @ 14kg Damn, I really should dance less and push weights more... but this is only temporary. 2 months and I'll be pushing weights all day long, every day!
  13. I think April 25th will be a milestone in vegan bodybuilding. All you guys look really really good! All have different strong parts, combined you'd be unbeatable! Now, all we need is a vegan frankenstein built from your parts. I'm really looking forward for the documentary too!
  14. About me and cutting my hair... no way! If I cut my hair short I won't have an opportunity to be a hair model anymore. Also, I want to show my healthy vegan hair, since people seem to think that vegans lose their hair. I have lots of blond straight hair and it's healthier than ever. Thanks for comments, especially my man L to the G! BTW, I'm a fan of Richard, no matter how much hair.
  15. I voted for Aura. I love the curly hairdos! Others are great too, but I had to choose one and Aura stood out.
  16. Tue 10th March - Bench press, barbell: 7 @ 82, 4+a @ 88kg, 1+a @ 92kg - Incline bench press, barbell: 6 + 6 @ 74kg - Bicep curls, curl bar: 4 x 5 @ 50kg (just for showoff, worked out with a friend) - Dips: 20 + 16 + 9 @ bw ~ 1h 30mins dancing
  17. Thanks mates! I've been eating huge amounts of sprouts... they just keep sprouting faster than I can eat them! Sun 8th March - Bent-over rows, curl bar: 5 x 12 @ 72kg - Deep squats, barbell: warm up @ 50kg, then 6 + 6 @ 80kg (need to take it easy, 6h dancing tomorrow!) Mon 9th March 8 am: 2h dancing 4:30 pm: 2h 15mins bboying 10:30 pm: 1h 45mins dancing
  18. YEAAH BUDDYYY!! My first harvest! I woke up 7 am and went straight to my garden of eden to pick my sprouts. They taste really good and they're HUGE! 2 inch sprouts in both fenugreek and mung beans as you can see: http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk250/tuc_finland/DSC05083.jpg Also, more coming already: sunflower seeds, alfalfa and fava beans! I think chick peas and black-eyed peas are ready tomorrow. http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk250/tuc_finland/DSC05084.jpg Fri 6th March - Deadlift, barbell: warmup @ 50kg and 94,4kg, 6 + 5 @ 136,6kg (Happy! 301 lbs) - Vise gripper: 3 x 12 per arm @ 143 lbs - Bicep curls, curl bar: 3 x 10 @ 40kg
  19. After 24 hours, remember: no pre-soaking or anything! http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk250/tuc_finland/DSC05081.jpg And again after 48 hours: http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk250/tuc_finland/DSC05082.jpg Wed 4th March 1h 45mins bboying. Took quite easy since I wasn't feeling too good. In the evening I got some fever and major stomach pain, must be some virus or something since there's a lot of that going on here. I feel better already but I think I'll rest today since I still feel funny.
  20. Good job, L&G! You got 4/5 right! The middle one is fenugreek. (I said here before he got 5/5 right but I got lost in translation) I still have to get some bboying pics, then I'll send my profile. You'll see harvest soon, already sprouts almost visible! Mon 2nd March 2h 30mins bboying Tue 3rd March - Bench press, barbell: warm up @ 50kg and 66kg, then 3 (-> leg cramp ) + 4 (-> another leg cramp ) @ 86kg (BAD!) - Incline bench press, barbell: 8 + 8 @ 72kg (GOOD!) - Dips: 19 + 22 + 17 @ bw (GOOD!) - Lateral raises, dumbbells: 8 + 10 + 10 @ 14kg (GOOD!)
  21. Welcome, Kyle! Don't worry about the stomach. Just get lifting and gain some muscle. After that your muscles will need a lot of more calories just to maintain your muscle mass, which means if you cut some calories your muscles will burn the fat from your stomach. You'll get far with free weights. I only train at home with free weights and I think I can work out most muscle groups really well.
  22. Hey, I forgot to check this topic since I didn't have that good photos to post here. But anyway, here goes! Thanks hilary and RobertSupreme! The reason why I keep doing this is because I get so much motivation from progress of people such as hilary, L&G and many many many others and because I can give that same motivation to others. The upper one is from january, I had great bulking going on but then I got ill and ate too little for almost 2 weeks. The lower one is from late february, I'm a bit smaller but I'm not pumped in that one. http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk250/tuc_finland/Jan_feb_updates.jpg
  23. Happy birthday mate! Sorry I'm a bit late, but better late than never! I love bodybuilding since getting older doesn't make you worse, statistically it makes you better! Most of the best bodybuilders are +30 years.
  24. FINALLY Giacomo! I love the profile section every day more and more! The double bicep pic is SCARY!
