I'll try my best to be on shape by christmas, shouldn't be too hard but it's really hard to start since it takes so many days to recover after starting again! Yeah, if you're planning on ordering them pm me and I'll help you find them for the best price. And I try to buy from vegan entrepreneurs, so the whole chain is vegan (except logistics)! Yeah, it was really cool lifting with you! Next time you see me I'll promise to be in top shape! Actually I only bought them pressured as tablets which don't taste like anything. I have to try to come to vegomässan but I can't promise anything yet. Hmmm... is there a possibility I might come and sell those sausages there. I'll pm you! I was super busy and only managed to do lots of bboying: Mon 5th October - 2h bboying Wed 7th October: - 1h 45mins bboying Thu 8th October: - 1h 15min bboying, 1h 15mins capoeira (taught by a real capoeirista from Brazil!!) Mon 12th October - 2h bboying Wed 14th October - 1h 45mins bboying Thu 15th October - Morning: 3h 45mins bboying - Afternoon: 1h 15mins bboying Sunday 18th October - Bench press, barbell: 4 x 10 @ 56kg - Standing shoulder press, dumbbells: 3 x 10 @ 16.5kg per arm I really have to start doing a lot more... next week I won't be that busy so I think now is a good time to start doing things properly. Additionally I've trained biceps several times but it's something I don't count as workout since I only do like a couple of sets before going somewhere where I have to wear a t-shirt. I also met some fantastic vegans! One girl, who was really fit had SOOOO muscular arms. She said that right now she can do about 8 pull-ups but said she has been able to do 10. Now that's something you DON'T hear often from a girl! I also met a raw food vegan who is national champion in submission wrestling. He is called Jaakko Halmetoja, and is working as a nutrition coach and such. Seemed like a superb guy, I have to contact him and try to get him here! We were both talking in Tampere in an event about food and lifestyles.

Sun 27th September - Bench press, barbell: 10 @ 50, 3 @ 82, 6 + 5 @ 74kg - Shoulder press, dumbbells: 12 + 12 + 9 @ 14kg per arm - Bent-over row, curl bar: 10 + 10 + 10 @ 76kg - Hammer curls: 12 + 12 + 12 @ 14kg per arm Mon 28th September 2h bboying Wed 30th September 1h 45mins bboying Thu 1st October - Deep squat, barbell: 3 x 10 @ 52kg - Deadlift, barbell: 10 @ 92kg Sat 3rd October - Bench press, barbell: 10 @ 52, 5 @ 62, 5 + 6 + 5 @ 72 - Shoulder press, dumbbells: 10 + 10 + 10 @ 16.5kg per arm - Bicep curls, dumbbells: 10 + 10 + 10 @ 16.5kg per arm - Deadlift: 5 @ 92kg, 5 @ 110kg An easy start is required after such a long break! It's amazing how fast you lose your best shape, but I hope I'll be back in heavy weights in no time! Hmm... what else... I started importing vegan sausages from Germany and already sold almost 1000 of them. Also bought 5.5kg spirulina and sold it too. I think we're talking about business in no time! You should have seen the face of the guy who brought me 50kg (110lbs) delivery and I said it's full of vegan sausages!
  15. 3 x a week full body workout: - Squats - Deadlifts - Bench presses - Shoulder presses (preferably behind neck) - Bicep curls - Sit-ups - Bent-over rows 3 sets of 8 reps each exercise (more sit-ups obviously). Start with low weights and add weight gradually. You might be devastated after the first few training sessions but it'll get easier very soon. You can do that at least for the first 3 months. You can choose dumbbells, barbell or machines that imitate those moves, all are fine.

  17. Calories: something like 1000 kcal -> considerable! Sugar: 150 grams -> shitloads Protein: 12 grams -> I get more protein from one 50g tofu&seitan sausages (which I have 1000 at home btw. ). You need at least 0,7 grams protein per weight in kg to stay healthy. For someone who is 70kg (154lbs) you would need to eat almost 2 kg (5 lbs) of dried fruit just to get recommended minimum. And at the same time you would have something like 6000 kcal. Dried fruit shouldn't be considered as a protein source, since it has least protein compared to total calories of almost any food in the world. (I checked the values for dried banana, values may vary a bit if different kinds of fruits are used)
  18. It is scientifically proven fact that it is way more efficient to build muscle if you are getting a lot of protein from your diet. You don't need tons of it, but for a guy of your size I'd suggest 100 grams per day should be fine. Also, you have to get enough calories to have gains. And it's easy to get calories if you eat something with lots of fat. It doesn't make you fat, it makes you strong. Avocado is a good source of fat if you want to get it from fresh fruits, but I'd suggest you take nuts, seeds and such to get that protein and those calories you need to build muscle at proper rate. You can get nice muscles even if you eat super crappy food, but it is wwaaaaaaay easier if you do it with enough protein and with extra calories.
