I have no idea how to even judge what kind of weight and force(from deadlifts) the floor of this loft can handle.
I'm planning to have a bench press, a hex bar for squats, many dumbells, 2 or 3 barbells, 6 to 8 45lbs plates, and a cable machine. I'm guessing up to 2 or 3 thousand pounds of equipment?
Should I check the integrity of the loft?
Whats the best way to do so?
Is the carpet a problem?
I would like to mount wall mirrors.
Should I replace the carpet with something else? Or can I put something over the carpet that won't mess with my balance and footing?
How do I manage the long term effects of sweat to the floor?
