  1. Part is genetics, no doubt. I'd go heavy, concentrate hardon flexing the abs during the exercise and stretch after every slow rep. the stretching is almost as important as the contraction. Make 'em burn! Second, train them more often than other muscle groups. I believe the abs can take a lot and it helped my abs develop.
  2. Josh is coming for you, Thinthin Not quite there yet, but looks as if he has the potential - good symmetry and nice shoulders. Seems to be dedicated to eat, eat and eat, which is good, too Plus the facial hair is hardcore disco style The posing is improvable though Josh, how old are you?
  3. Looks like a fun adventure I remember that kitchen (and some of the faces) Looking forward to the VV 08
  4. My thoughts exactly! Traps are looking really nice Zack Who cares about the emo look, lipstick and long hair with those shoulders Totally
  5. Great job! I really like the vid, though it lacks some crazy computer FX Reminds me of the days when the ninja got his sorry butt kicked by the Daywalker
  6. Even work out hard and consistently? He has a great body no doubt. But he is a fighter, not a bodybuilder. I believe almost everyone can get his body to this level (bodybuilding wise, not fighting skills ) naturally with a lot of hard work and dedication. Not look exactly like that, but have a similar bodyfat-muscle ratio.
  7. Zydrunas Savickas. The guy is unstoppable, and when he's not injured he'll kick ass this year again.
  8. Fool! Don't encourage him!
  9. I'm on there as Vegan Kryptonite. And all of you who are on facebook: PM me, i'll send you an invitation for Warbook, add the app, and then JOIN THE VEGAN WORLD DOMINATION ARMY! We need more recrutes
  10. Awesome! I can't wait!!! There will be JoeC, TylerM and JP from VF as well. VeganEssentials will likely be there, too, and maybe one or two more VF members. It will be awesome to meet you all! Great that you'll be there, too, SeaSiren!
  11. The vegan fitness week will be awesome! Maybe you can join us, Rob?
  12. As i said before, as long as it won't collide with the VF week, i'm good with any date Just decide SOON please!
  13. Damn, i missed this thread! Potter's pottery would have made awesome christmas presents!! Anyway, Potter, i'll take a bunch (PM on the way)
  14. Good idea. When you optimized your product range, i might even buy something. It seems like it's not yet finished. You should add some products to your range: - protein powders, not only 7 "different" soy protein powders, what about pea, rice, hemp protein? - More bars, for example Vega bars and Cliff Builder's Bars. - Hemp seeds and flax oil. - Brewers yeast, VegOne vitamins. - CEE. - Protein dense foods, like Wheaty and Viana products.
  15. Awesome Looking good, Pamela! No one would guess you're already 26!
  16. Nice pic offense It seems like you swapped shirts. Rob must be doing his "standing closer to the camera" trick, cos he fills your Swedish shirt out, while you seem a bit lost in his Oregon shirt
  17. Looks good. You could get real big if you only started to EAT and REST more, and wouldn't be afraid to lift heavy I can definitely see some progress from last year
  18. Didn't read what the other losers think, but i think this: - Looks like an okayish fitness routine. - Do strengthening exercises first, then cardio. - Do only one curling exercise. - Drop the front raises, and preferably the lateral raises, too. - Add something for the lower back. - Why do you not stick to the total rep idea for curls and overhead presses as well? Makes much more sense to me. - Make sure you progress by slowly increasing resistance or volume over time.
  19. What is so special about this routine? Looks pretty standard. I suppose these weights are the ones you used, how did you determine which weights to use? And what do you mean "one day only"? Only this one day per week? A little unbalanced, don't you think?
  20. I second Jono, squats are the foundation of the whole routine and every other exercise is built around them. It's a mental game no doubt. I get nervous even on the light days and i am scared shitless before heavy sets! I love and hate squatting, but the rewards are worth the pain - the best is the feeling of triumph and pride when you really digged deep to go beyond your limits. On a sidenote, i wouldn't recommend going balls to wall every squat session. The more advanced you are as a lifter, the less often you should go to failure on squats.
  21. You break my heart I thought i was special to you... ... All this talking of spoons and sandwiches made me hungry. *wanders off to find something edible*
  22. I was about to say, you should NOT tease the poor dog like that. It's not very PC behaviour for a vegan ninja, though i must admit your agility and speed have much improved of late
