  4. I didn't vote yet. I only want the date changed, no matter if earlier or later! BECAUSE: you cannot have the vegan vacation overlapping with the vegan fitness week! The VF week is from august 8-13, so pleeaase do something about that! I know there won't be too many people attending both, but i want to!

  6. Hey Ravi! I agree to what the dude said. If you haven't already, take a week or two off of lifting. Then come back with a good plan of what you'll do and what you want to achieve. A goal is very important for motivation! Also, you need to see progress from week to week. Try something completely different from what you've been doing so far. The main difference should be the working intensity and volume: if you're used to sets to failure, stop doing these, if you've never done those before, give them a try now! Good luck!

  9. Haha, that's great! I remember that kitchen, too Maybe you can do some of your computer magic to add some effects? The only part i thought wasn't good was when the ninja runs at Jason, who's lying on the floor - he takes too many steps for just acouple of metres. Other than that, good fun to watch

I ditched benching because 1. on the pressing days i needed to focus on overhead and triceps strength, bench press doesn't transfer that well into overhead strength, and my triceps doesn't grow from it as well. With push press, close grip bench, dips, strict overhead press and sometimes incline bench i already have enough pressing moves to choose from. Then i vary between pressing a barbell, log or dumbells. 1.b. benching is not part of strongman comps 2. i don't need to grow larger pecs, for BB purpose i need more balanced muscles, and arms and shoulders are lagging behind.

  12. My overhead press always was and always will be weak compared to my other lifts, but here's what helped me increase it: Started doing barbell push presses, switched strict to dumbell. Added close grip bench press fpr triceps strength, ditched flat benching. Did heavy sets, low reps, no muscle failure. Did pressing 1-2 per week. Maybe this helps you, too
  13. Excuse list: - crap lighting. - The light was really crap. - No mirror to pose into. - Bad lighting as well. I'll post a few pictures soon, once i get my internet access at home. Form is good these days, so BEWARE But yes, DP and RR are monsters. Not strong, just big DP is lost for bodybuilding, though, he has to do strongman! Awesome genetics for strength, and a strongman training facility basically around the corner - with the best of coaches, too! But roid_rage will do a BB comp sometime soon. Can't wait to see him on a diet!
  14. Rob, first of all, you're doing a great job!!! Yet i agree that we have a lot of sub boards, too much really. Remember that it will never be perfect, there will always be evolution that keeps us on our toes Looks good to me. I'd call it "Community" and have the travelling, regional, photo and video boards there. Have a "Bodybuilding & weight training" board and another for other sports, be it yoga, endurance or martial arts. We are a BB forum after all Nutrition, Intros, General and Blogs are a must. Add one more for the news and animal rights stuff. Just my 2p
  15. It's not as if we over here will stop training for a couple of years just to give a (small) chance of catching up It was a great weekend (did i say that already?)! Everyone was just great. I love being around cool vegans I felt skinny all day long between Devil'sP and RR. I need to eat. Actually, my eating has been great the last few days Now i'm off to the gym - squats on the menu By the way, I like the buttwalker picture (not the caption ).   18. I can't decide. Do i have to? Seriously, much respect to everyone! How long did the challenge go? Those are awesome transformations! In some they might be a bit more obvious, but if i take into regard that it gets harder to transform your body if you are already beyond the beginner status, it gets really hard to judge! Congratulations to you all! You are all winners already, and your prize is better fitness, health and looks But lelle, did you have to show ALL pictures in one thread? It took me like 10 minutes and 5x refresh until i had them all loaded
  19. The workouts are okay, but don't expect miracles. The guys in the movie look good because - they got CGI makeup - the lighting is everythin for looking good, and there is no better lighting than at a movie set - you can bet your asses that they don't prepare naturally for a multi-million dollar movie. Train hard and aim to increase your strength and athletic abilities, eat a lot if you want to gain, and diet if you want to cut. No miracles.

  21. No you don't Sure. Better in what regard? Good and bad are relative terms, they can only apply with a goal. So, in other words, what is your goal? Basically, you could do EVERYTHING different! Sorry, i'm being silly. Yet, i'm serious: without more detailed info it's hard to answer your questions.
