  1. He was 48 when his profile was posted here http://www.veganbodybuilding.com/?page=bio_avi Maybe 50 now if the profiles don't update; do they? He's awesome
  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9y_2jxGAye4 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNB6if1TAP0 "Steel destruction"
  3. What kind of internet connection are you using? + http://www.phpbb.com/search/?q=invalid+session I think I saw there that somebody clicked the "Preview" button after writing the post, and THEN clicking Submit. Try that maybe?
  4. Well since it's also about bodybuilding, how about: Vegan & Fitness Radio, or: The Fit Vegan Radio
  5. Blurry pictures You should try using the timer on your camera maybe. Same for you, Octo.
  6. Excellent idea. We should do this.
  7. Welcome. Regarding B12, this is often debated. viewtopic.php?t=13102 Here is somebody I posted about that doesn't supplement, and had a B12 test. Then, there's Bigbwii that's a fruitarian. I don't think he supplements, but not sure. Harley, the first one, does eat a lot of wild plants, so the B12 might indeed be coming from some dirt on the plants. Of course supplementation is recommended.
  8. http://www.celsias.com/2008/02/22/why-eating-a-big-mac-is-cheaper-than-eating-a-salad/ http://www.celsias.com/blog/images/pyramid_subsidies.jpg We’ve all heard the figures. We know that meat production uses significantly more land and fossil fuel resources than a vegetarian diet. But, then, why on earth is it cheaper to eat meat than fresh fruit and vegetables? Almost 75% of U.S. government subsidies go into meat and dairy production, but less than half a per cent goes into fruit and vegetable production. Talk about an upside down world! This is why the Farm Bill, that favours the most destructive and largest food producers, is so significantly out of touch with what you’d hope would be the real goals of society — health of the environment and the people in it. 0.37% for fruits/veg?? If this is true, this is absolute insanity
  9. Yeah. If the supplies are finite, then obviously there must be a peak in maximum production.
  10. I agree. But the main thing here is if it's possible to get B12 from a natural plant diet. By the looks of it, if his B12 went up, he must be getting some. B12 is the only real argument about veganism being "unnatural". I suppose one could eat some insect for B12
  11. I found this guy to be really cool. He's cycling around Australia and other countries on just raw plants, no supplements. He even won a durian speed eating competition in Thailand, lol http://a645.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/64/l_6c232db45e423510db693cce8e0549fc.jpg http://www.veganfitness.net/forum/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=1385 http://www.veganfitness.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12920 Rant thread http://www.myspace.com/durianrider One argument many have with him concerns with B12, that he doesn't supplement. Interesting test result he got though(From page 6 on rant thread)
  12. Are they getting enough calories?
  13. I've been taking a look at this site for a few years now. How I found it isn't complicated. Google "vegan bodybuilding" and this site comes up as the first one.
  14. What's next after this? How about forearms?
  15. Can somebody post a summary? What is it that's unhealthy?
  16. Good contest! Lots of great physiques here
