  6. I prefer legumes and rice and other whole non-processed grains. I also like to have a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich a day. That's my only bread in take and maybe a bagel now and then. Most things I eat are pretty simple. It's just way cheaper to not buy tofu.
  7. I too did not get into bed until 6am this Sunday. I've never been good at getting a good nights sleep on the weekends. I read somewhere that your brain secrets hormones @ 2AM which help with muscle recovery and are only released when you're sleeping. The weekends usually don't mean I'm in bed by 2(let alone 6 on some nights ) Keep up the ass kicking!

  9. I really don't think this is an attack on raw foodists Big. And you all know that we all love and respect you and what you do. Robert hasn't ever made a rash decision yet(that I know of ) so I'm sure he'll handle this all with tact and intelligence. Not to be a capitalist sounding douche, but this is his site and his vision. We should all of course contribute to this thread so he gets an idea of how people feel but in the end it's up to him.

So that running never happened because I got a wee bit too drunk and made out with this really cool vegetarian girl who I again hung out with into the wee hours of the morning Saturday night-Sunday morning(sober) and I have a huge thing for now. Deadlifts 3x5@100kg Way too easy so I upped the weight. 2x5@105 Next week I'm starting at 110kg. Gotta get back up to 120kg and then try and get a good max lift. Shrugs 1x6@295(wayyy too heavy) 4x6@275(perfect) Overhead press 1x8@95 3x5@115 1x6@95 Seated Row 2x8@150 1x7@150 fail on 8 There was the entire damn basketball team in the weight room and not a single damn one of them had any fucking weight room etiquette. One of them started fucking around the weights I was using to shrug. It's a damn good thing I'm always in a good mood when I'm lifting or I would've smacked his stupid jock-strap bro chauvinist pig ass. I was really tired on top of that so combined with the jocko-douchebaggery I figured I'd leave early with at least a good lift(not a great one). Time to eat some spinach!

  13. Ah. I see where your coming from. I would still be interested in staying, because I joined for the community and the bodybuilding aspect. The raw forum was just an added benefit. If you do get rid of it, maybe make a health and nutrition forum (i think there is one already) that has a little sub comment on the diets you can discuss. Well if you're going by that frame of mind we should probably get rid of the Relationships and Entertainment forums as well at least. I just don't see it being a distraction at all. I tried going raw for a week and didn't like being completely raw but it was a nice way to look at food.

  15. I've always used this forum to post my training results and get some pointers. Raw Vs. Cooked Vs. Unprocessed Vs. Processed etc. is all personal preference. Just do what feels right. I prefer to eat mostly very simple unprocessed foods, raw or cooked. I like raw veggies and fruits better than I like them cooked. This is just how I feel though. I guess I just don't see why the raw forum is "bad" or "hurting our credibility". It has at least brought in a bunch of new members and cool people to this online community.
  16. I ended up not making the chutney. Didn't have enough time. I had forgotten how damn labor intensive samosas are when your only help is someone who has never cooked before in there entire life and has a weird fear of sticky substances and therefore kneading and handling dough. Next time I'll hopefully have some help.
  17. I can't remember who but someone was talking about tamarind chutney. Long story short I'm making samosas and if anyone has the recipe for it please post. If not, I'll search the series of tubes known as the internet!

Squats warmup 1x5@205 1x5@215 1x5@225 Felt good. Negative Incline Sitdowns 6 sets till fail Leg press 3x6@350 Abdominal Cable Pulldowns 3x20@90 I'm gonna go running(ekh) and biking tomorrow so I took it easy. Next week is going to be way more intense.
  20. I prefer tons of other Samurai anime to this one. Samurai Seven, Ruroni Kenshin, Samurai Champloo are my favs. Afro Samurai just felt like it was ripping them all off at once. Still not terrible. And i love Samuel L Jackson.

Regular Grip Bench- 3x5@185 Wow was that hard. I gotta focus more on strength Close Grip 1x6@135 1x8@135 1x6@135 I was having grip issues. Boo. Curls 3x8@30 Great ROM and super slow. Felt good. Triceps Pulldown 1x8@120(too heavy) 2x8@100 Close Grips took a lot out of my triceps Preacher Curls 3x10@EZ-curl bar + 30 lbs One handed triceps pulldown 3x8@40 per hand One handed reverse triceps pulldown 3x12@30 I'm going to add dips, incline bench(low eight high reps) and pushups next week along with pull ups(which I can do one of so I'm going to not list them until I build my strength up for them ) Ate a crap ton of kale and garbanzos and some refried beans on corn tortillas. Also had a couple bagels with different nut butters. mmmm almond butter rules.

  24. Yeah I love crass. I have a big ass poster I got with that album on my wall. Right now I'm listening to Mono's New 3LP "Gone". It's a collection of their EPs they've put out over the years and it's good cause a lot of those EPs are now OOP. I also got the limited edition colored vinyl.
