clank72 Posted February 21, 2014 Share Posted February 21, 2014 I want to make sure I'm on the right track. What macros do you usually go by when bulking and cutting, are they about the same? I'm on a bulk right now taking in 2500 on off days and 2800 to 3400 on training days. For me, I have noticed it's really hard to have a low fat diet with Vegan. Mine varies, but here is what I normally do 40-45% Carbs30%~ Protein35%~ Fats Fats seems to always follow the protein. For example, if I have any nuts, the fat will follow. Should I worry about it? tombourlet Posted February 27, 2014 Share Posted February 27, 2014 I go for 40-40-20 (protein/Carbs/Fat), with 1 to 1.5 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight and 1.5 grams of carbs per pound of bodyweight, then work out fat accordingly, allowing some from saturated fat for hormonal purposes but mainly unsaturated fat.
