Guest
Seleção sink brave Americans http://www.fifa.com/confederationscup/matches/round=250122/match=66211/index.html#selecao+sink+brave+americans We US, blew a 2-0 halftime lead and gave up 2 goals in the final 16' to lose 2-3. I'm proud of our guys anyway. If the best 5' 11"-6' 1" 185-210lb American athletes didn't play football and basketball; God knows how good our mens national soccer team would be. JW
yes, but I do feel they were fortunate not to have been blown outHoward played extremely well, their first goal was a bit odd to say the least (one of those "the ball had eyes" passes)A goal by Brazil was disallowed. Once Brazil wole up the possesion % was extremely lopsided.I have to admit I was in complete shock when the U.S. went up 2-0Then they were dropping back 8 men to the box in defence and Brazil just came on in waves. Without Howard's performance, it could have easily ended up 5-2 Nevertheless, it was a solid tournament result for the U.S.
