DTMExPAT
Anyone got any good ways to take measurements for documenting my progress?I really want to track how big I get as I progress, but I dont have the slightest where to start. Im about to head to the gym in a bit after some food and shakeage.. Any help on how to measure my spreads, etc would be amazing!
Lean and Green
get a flexibile tape measure. It was so hard to find one when I was looking but I found the perfect one here For 3 bucks you can go wrong. Basically the best way to get accurate figures is to be relaxed, not pumped or flexed and take each spot 3 times and find the common figure and record it. The places to measure to get a broad pic would be L n R Quad (beefiest part)L n R arm (beefiest part)Chest (under arms and around back, lats as relaxed as poss and arms down)Shoulders (around shoulders)L n R Forearms (beefiest part)Hips (widest part around glutes)Waist (around belly button)L n R Calves (around beefiest part)neck (self explanatory) As far as BF, I find the scales are never accurate and annoy me although I do have a tanita bf floor scale, I don't rely on it as a gauge Weight is weight, floor scale. Imo, flexed measurements are just for ego and not really what you want to be looking at but it still feels good to flex and measure just to see what the figs are. I mean, when you get measure for a suit, they don't tell you to flex your chest and then they measure, ya know? http://images.allegrocentral.com/E9/D4/8ab281020bb66dff010bb67766d16acc-PRODUCT-BIG_IMAGE.jpg
