raliegh road bikes?

im about to buy one of these are they any good???

It depends on which bike it is. Almost ever company's entry level bikes are pretty much the same in the same price range. Its the components you should be looking at. I wouldn't get anything without Shimano Tiagra at a very minimum...Shimano 105 is much better and worth the expense but Tiagra is a lot better than it used to be. The major differences between brands aren't really seen until you hit the $1200 range for most brands.
